Allah says that the dead is lifeless and cannot listen to us in his grave so we can never ask a dead person to pray for us however righteous .remember the prophet removed idols from Mecca as they were considered a medium of communication between god we again are repeating the sane mistake.and who knows whether the man you are asking is really righteous ,so pray to god and ask for his help alone(I did not comment on any dead person if I have hurt feelings I appologize)
