fuck this game it gets really boring after about 1 month of playing it. there's nothing special to it, no cruising around with friends, not a lot of customizing options, bad camera, wacky sounds, pale colours and it just doesn't feel lively and FUN !
I just got Test Drive Unlimited 2, it's not a driving simulator but if you're a car lover looking for a game where you feel like you're actually DRIVING A SUPER CAR, then get TDU2 because it's a great cruising and racing game.

Everything in this trailer looks pretty much the same in the full game. Something I learned however, is that my PS3/GT5 HATE my 23" 1080p monitor by Asus, but LOVE my Sony Bravia 32" 1080p LCD TV. :\ I see a WORLD of difference in graphics on the two, and there shouldn't be any, since they're both the resolution. Hell, my 23" monitor should make it BETTER, due to the pixels being my condensed. But whatever, hooked up to my Sony Bravia, it looks marvelous and shadows look smooth as well. +1 :D

BOTH forza 3 and GT5 had the same car just modded in slightly different ways and marketed as a new car for instance there were like 12 or 13 dodge viper GT race cars and they were all like 1 point better or worse than each other but basically the same car. GT5 did this but on a much more ridiculous and silly scale. Most of the cars in that game are either the same car or shit cars that no one wants to drive anyways.

The one thing GT5 has over any game, and reviewers said this too, that each car drives uniquely and i guess you haven't played the game cuz they really do. I think the weather driving is stunningly difficult and stunningly realistic. Put traction to "REAL" on wet weather and THEN try driving your 458 italia!

I know this game isn't available to buy on PC but this is a PC version that they're showing. The ps3 version has some jagged edges and the shadows are terrible but, overall I like the game.
GT5 is a great game but i hate looking at the scenery when my brother plays...... like the only dissapoiniting bit about the game and i would love to see some standard cars move to premium. But its like buying an Xbox 360, your buying last gen stuff, Like GT5 really your buying GT4 but with enhanced physics and graphics.
The only thing that Irks me about this game is how unfinished it is even after all the delays. Only ~1-2/3 of the cars have damage and cockpit view, and you have to unlock damage which is a little silly. Also you have to have a 10 GIG install just to make it run its best. Past all of that, the game is the perfect racing experience for any fan.
I have finished the A-spec...no weather like this. The weather is only in the special events...which were far better and more extensive in GT4 :(. When is GT6 coming out? lmao

@DUBZ639 I bought it & there's a lot of screen tearing during game play. I play it on the PS3 Slim, & it doesn't run smoothly. I hope they fix this, if they can fix it. Some people have said it runs smoother on the older PS3.
@rayj778 I'm running off an older PS3 and it runs beautifully. But the cooling fan does go mental very quickly. Higher volume on my surround sound sorts that out. :D

@123Numlas123 yus it does, but as a die hard Honda/Acura/i-V-tec fan, froza 3 is by far the best when it comes to ther car sounds! GT5 just didnt try to hard for V-tec. LOL and the JAPS made HONDA and this GAME but they cant get them to combine! FAIL! lol

GT5 fails....6 years and its barely better than a game from 09...and Forza four is already on the way...probably with weather, night/day and a horn....

@Jappeke007 no, thats another thing forza did better at. BOTH forza 3 and GT5 had the same car just modded in slightly different ways and marketed as a new car for instance there were like 12 or 13 dodge viper GT race cars and they were all like 1 point better or worse than each other but basically the same car. GT5 did this but on a much more ridiculous and silly scale. Most of the cars in that game are either the same car or shit cars that no one wants to drive anyways.

@scottgoldstein10 you think everyones gunna have the same taste. The one thing GT5 has over any game, and reviewers said this too, that each car drives uniquely and i guess you haven't played the game cuz they really do. I dunno bout u but having 1000 unique cars is an extraordinary feat. Not to mention its cuz they race cars so obviously some will have the same stock to keep competition fair in the class you idiot.

I think the weather driving is stunningly difficult and stunningly realistic. Put traction to "REAL" on wet weather and THEN try driving your 458 italia!

I know this game isn't available to buy on PC but this is a PC version that they're showing. The ps3 version has some jagged edges and the shadows are terrible but, overall I like the game.

GT5 is a great game but i hate looking at the scenery when my brother plays...... like the only dissapoiniting bit about the game and i would love to see some standard cars move to premium. But its like buying an Xbox 360, your buying last gen stuff, Like GT5 really your buying GT4 but with enhanced physics and graphics.

The only thing that Irks me about this game is how unfinished it is even after all the delays. Only ~1-2/3 of the cars have damage and cockpit view, and you have to unlock damage which is a little silly. Also you have to have a 10 GIG install just to make it run its best. Past all of that, the game is the perfect racing experience for any fan.

i waited a long time and bought a ps3 just to be let down,
I will most defo be sticking with my xbox and forza,
I find gt5 has lost its crown,
Yes its beautiful, but it doesnt run well on sonys new ps3 ( because os scalled back hardware compared to the phats )
it still has horendious load times even after install,
And just isnt as smooth as forza,
I love gt games, but after all the talk and hype, well i feel a little short changed,

@DUBZ639 I bought it & there's a lot of screen tearing during game play. I play it on the PS3 Slim, & it doesn't run smoothly. I hope they fix this, if they can fix it. Some people have said it runs smoother on the older PS3.

@rayj778 I'm running off an older PS3 and it runs beautifully. But the cooling fan does go mental very quickly. Higher volume on my surround sound sorts that out. :D
