Please someone help me I have the same tv but some banner or some picture pop up at the left top corner how to remove it?! it's annoying when I play games :(

@blesyl67 go to avs forum for better help. It may be an Image Retention (Temporary) or Burn In (permanent). warranty does not cover this.

Immediately stop playing games with HUDs that do not move or do not disappear, do not watch content with black bars or screen logos for too long.

Use Pixel Shift from the TVs menu or White Wash to try and remove the Image Retention. If it's a burn in... may be too bad.. Get a new TV.

If you game for too long stay away from Plasmas!

Good luck with getting one that works more than a month before 1/3 of the screen develops vertical lines. Look at the video on my post to see what I'm talking about. And apparently this is a very common issue as BEST BUY can't get a replacement for about a month. Every store that reported to have one of these televisions in stock was accounting for a television that was returned for the same reason.

It is a great television when it works!!!!

hey man good tv Ive also have the same tv samsung you have too, you have any idea show too disable turn on sound, you know when you hear sound when turning on the tv its too loud like,

I bought this TV.Very impressed with it.Great picture.Good connectivity...U can get the best out of it When you play blu ray movies , you'll be blown away by the picture quality...Also i have a Digital tv connection..& pictures are superb.Now waiting to get an HD connection.wow.Great.Thumbs up for samsung....Friends Go for Plasma..They are much much better than LCD..believe me..Only problem with plasma is screen burn..& that too if u use it for long hours.I use my plasma for movies..really great

How is the glare? Is the anti reflective screen good? And how is the audio? Will I be able to hear it good from about 8-10 feet away?

It's a plasma, it can't have that much glare.

Not true, Plasmas can have a ton of glare...and I myself now have a 42 inch and I can tell you that while it is there, its not horrible...but still, depending on where you have your plasma, like for instance, if you Plasma is facing a window, you will have glare during the day.

I have the 550...is just frigging awesome...but try to play movies with the fit in screen system so you dont have burn in the screen it does have the fix protecction but just be carefull also try to fit the screen without lines up and down or to the sides with old videos. After that PLASMA beats LCDs of today. Maybe LED LCDS of over 3K are a little better other than that any plasma is great specially on movies. If u just game go lcd just cos of the burnin problem.

Just bought it! So far very satisfied. IT BETTER NOT SCREW LIKE MY PREVIOUS HDTV. I'm gonna be really, really pissed if it does. Calibration settings: movie mode contrast 71 brightness 56 sharpness 0 color 52 tint 34g

Plasmas are cheaper, better in contrast and the quality of colors are also better as LCDs, and the new generation of plasma has lower wattage as the LCD TVs, yes its right.

look, a new plasma has 200-250 Watts ... a LCD also

but a LCD has the whole time this wattage!

but a plasma has only the wattage when the screen is bright! ... when the screen getting darker... the wattage are lower!!

you have never a constant maximum wattage!!

if u leave the picture to much time u can get some burn in with the plasma. IT will go away in some time but that could happen with videogames. IF you just watch movies like me...then PLASMA is the king.

I have the PN42B430 which is the same except for fewer inputs. This is a great set AND a bargain. For those into calibration, the starting point of Movie Mode warm2 although proper for Blu-Ray viewing, DOES NOT TRANSLATE into correct, or enjoyable, Hi-Def TV viewing. For that mode, Standard cool, is your best starting point. I have spent months on this, but once you have it set it is a stunning picture.
