Once again, your demonstration of being a Professional Trader and not a gambler is worth its weight in gold. Great job on filtering out the various vehicles and their correlations. Your OMNI Proprietary average has proven itself over and over. Keep up the great work! (aka MadDog)
right you are hooligan ! Oscar rocks ! Been around for many years, but Oscar is the top. To everyone : join his site and see for yourself. But never forget to do your own homework.
light volume Friday makes you want to feel it failed. CNBC says the rally is only an EOQ rally and wont go past EOM....so ... what will happen? we go up for the week. my top is 865 at best. turn date of Thursday.. but not headed to new lows.... not quite yet. who the hell really knows :)
Oscar....there is a bearish rising wedge on the daily charts of the U.S. indices....on Friday the mkts retraced a nearly 38% move to the lower boundary of the bearish wedge - we are in an abcde ending diagonal pattern w/one more thrust to the upside before collapsing. How many days of unmitigated gains do you expect a market to make w/o a retracement? I couldn't believe you were a buyer on Friday.....good grief.....

As an "OPERATIONS" Manager of several NOW defunct trading rooms I must say that you do need to be MORE Comprehensive in your Directional "Analysis" to GAIN More Clientele & Credibility........
Friday was a LOW volume Profit-Taking Session w/VIX hardly ticking Up.
Commodities & Fin. will resume Up-Ward momentum BECAUSE:
1. End-of-Quarter window Dressing
2. Strong Volume A/D line Expanding as New Lows Contracting & MACD & RSI
kvq1999, How long have you been watching Oscar's videos? Oscar's analysis is quite comprehensive. It's obvious he spends a lot of time studying and compunds that with decades of experience. He puts his thoughts out for anyone to see and comment. He's still standing. I think I have an idea why you have been involved with several defunct trading rooms.
As Oscar had explained in last week's video that commodities were forming a base and had upward bias. Also, I agree that market internals are strong: A/D line, up/dn volume, and new highs/new lows. But financials, I'm not sure.
So, as Oscar suggested, side stepping may be best "trade"!
the S&P is above the omni MA, what happens now do we wait to see another close above the MA for this to be official?

Do you trade Options On Index/Stocks??
Technicallly WHAT level might SPX peak at? 860? And what OTHER indicators do YOU use? I trade SPY,QQQQ,FSLR & GS,FCX
ANY Good trading Ideas??
ASIDE from technicals ECO. stats & earnings MOVE markets ,too
the ECB rate decision, Consumer Conf. & Jobs data
all play a KEY factor.
