Digitizing books is not a bad idea. But once digitized they can be more easily modified.. cencored.. and with the digitized book being digitized by one place and distributed by only one provider they can basically manufacture what they want and tell people anything they want. Stories and Histories would be interchangable at will to 'them'

I agree with they guy about charging to view the books or restricting the libraries from giving their books to others - I'd be concerned with that.
