  • Anyone else notice the color underneath the yellow line on the front is orange, not black?

  • @TommyBNSF yeah somthing looked a bit off

  • That UP SD70M 4624 is bad nasty, nice catch!

  • The swoosh scheme also is on SD45-2's, SD40-2's, not just BNSF 882, but also BNSF 932, but some SD70MAC's, also bnsf ordered some refurbish GP38-2's that also has the swoosh scheme.

  • AWESOME!!!! I didn't even know bnsf had any h3 dash-8s!

  • thanks

  • awesome video

  • The first locomotive has the wrong paint scheme. It is a Dash 9/C44-9w, so it should have the regular Heritage 3 scheme, not the "swoosh" paint scheme. This paint scheme is only for BNSF

    ES44DC and BNSF SD70ACe locos.

  • According to rail pictures . net it is a C40-8W bulit in 1993 fo atsf

  • Bnsf has sd40-2 and switchers in the swoosh scheam

  • Yeah, I forgot to mention those. I did some research, and yes, it is a Dash 8. But how can you tell the difference between a Dash 9 and 8? (Not on BNSF)

  • dash 9 have more modern computer systems and are slightly longer also they have a different air inlet configuration 800-951 on the bnsf are dash 8 it's reallly hard to tell

  • @trainzandbridgez101 Look at the trucks for one...... and the Horn...

  • Thats what im talkin about!!!! 5 stars *****!!!

  • thanks

  • its so cool when this happens

  • thanks

  • AWESOME~~!!

  • thanks

  • your welcome!!

  • Hi NSNC Railfan this BNSF locomotive is an old model so the new model is the Dash 9

  • No the new model is GE ES44AC or EMD SD70ACe.This is a Dash 8 NOT a Dash 9

  • How is it a Dash 8? It's a C44-9w, AKA Dash 9, NOT a Dash 8.

  • nope C40-8W

  • What was the number of the second unit on the BNSF train?

  • sorry can't tell.

  • creepy, I filmed the same thing, and yes its the only one in that paint.

  • Cool.

  • I think BrianAmtrak said when He filmed that same unit, that the BNSF Swoosh Dash 8 might be the only Dash 8 with the new logo. The old one like this was a Warbonnet.

  • Thanks for the info.
