I love Bambi ^_^ But I didn't watch it too much because I would always cry as a kid when Bambi's mother died it was so sad T_T

Lion King is my favorite movie, but Bambi is close behind it. It wasn't until a few years ago that i listened to the music from this movie and realized how wonderful it was. The movie and the music are both just.. amazing, so amazing I am moved to tears.

The part from 1:16 has stuck with me since I first saw this song at 4 or 5 (I remember going with my dad to the store to get it). We always fast forwarded past the main song because we were little and got bored very quickly :) Beautiful memories.

For those of you have purchased the "Diamond Edition" release on Blu-Ray/DVD that just came out today, the opening did have the 2006 Walt Disney Pictures logo rather than the 1990 logo, but it was cut short, but no RKO logo being shown.

Thanks for posting this. It saddens my that in all the "Disney Top Song" lists this is never in their. Their is always the Lion King, The Little Mermaid, or Aladdin but never a classic like this.

Bambi is my favorite Disney movie of all time and I am glad that you posted this wonderful song!

I don't think there could ever a better opening for this animated masterpiece than this song. It is truely one of the those rare films that lives up to the word "amazing", for it has so deeply touched me that even now, at the age of seventeen, I am still able to cry like I did when I was a little girl. Snot bubbles and all.
