Was talking about this with a friend the other day and they said it was like watching the patients being in charge of the nut house, with the lead nut dressed in a white bunny suit with a Kangol cap 'repping the ka-mun-u-ty. Lord have mercy!!! Glad the parade was MOVED! Yes lord!!! Maybe now I will go!

Check out the videos with one mother's child laying across the MetroLink railroad tracks. Is this why Martin Luther King fought? Is this why Rosa Parks sat down on the bus. Wake up people, wake up. It made me sad to see May Day (what we call the Annie Malone parade) moved out of the traditional route in St. Louis's black neighborhoods to a more sterilized, PR friendly one downtown.
