  • Amazing! This is the best demo I have seen in this style. Any CDs/Mp3s out there?

  • who would waste time making a clever fake..that only shows hands and the video..... you can absolutely do this on the micro.

  • @shabbee The point you mention at 1.34, if you listen you can hear a hihat trigger twice, the sample on the top G# does not have the hihat triggered twice. You are correct that the "whooaa" is not on the top flat key this has the sample "everybody". All I can say is I probably made a mistake dragging an event or changed it so the song flowed better. I can send you the sample bank which you can open on the editor to verify what I have done.

  • @shabbee That's ok i'll take your word for it. I just felt mighty clever there a sec picking up on those minor inconsistancies.

Obviously i never meant to say that it wasnt made on the MicroSAMPLER, i own 1 myself and is well aware that it has the power to do this. So i'll retract my claim of "fakeness" and accept that you cleaned up the midi post-recording. And cleaning or not, it is a nicely done remix! I never meant critise the overall quality of the mix either.

  • Hmm... just noticed a flaw, it's a fake! A clever one, i'll give him that...

Notice that at 1:09 the sound seamingly produced from A#5 (right most black key), differs from the sound otherwise (both before and after) produced by it. That sound is afterwards triggered from G#5 - he then even forgets to press G#5 at 1:32 but the sound is still heard.

This is obviously NOT a recording of the actual remix, but rather a well planed rutine to fake it, save for those 2 slip-ups.

    Sorry dude.

  • I just downloaded this mp3 at instantmp3s..com

  • awesome vid. inspirational stuff.

  • DUDE! Nice video and remix!!! I ran in2 this on the Korg Forums. I just picked up my micro sampler 2 days ago. I'm still learning it from front 2 back but damn, it has a lot of potential. I'm actually having a problem connecting it 2 my computer. I installed the driver and everything that would make sense 2 make it work, but nope. I sent Korg a email about the problem. Do you have any suggestions???

  • @ninjabeatzkill did you run the KORG USB MIDI DRIVER utility? try again, but make sure you have the MS powered on and plugged into a port when you install it, then make sure you always use the same USB port every time. it gave me a headache the first couple of days too.

  • @3sleeves Thanks, I got it working now. But everytime I wanna use the software I gotta reinstall the driver, that's so annoying. Did this happen 2 you also? Hey, I'm just learning this new toy, got any tips for me? We should collaborate on some stuff 2gether. Hit me up if you wanna get something going. I'm still trying 2 figure out how 2 work with the patters and over-dub. It seeems I can't get passed step 1 >.<

  • excelent remix!! i have a microsampler also...hope i can put a video soon too...big up!
