  • OMG I was just a kid the foist time I heard this song. Thanks for posting, Long Live you Tube!!!!

  • There exists a more pop French version with Francoise Hardy and it's called " Comment te dire adieu" - How can I say goodbye to you!!!!

i love you...please post more songs like this

where music is really music...again thanx a lot...

  • I'm glad you liked the music :)

  • In 1968 we were moving. My father played this song in his films. One of the most touching

songs of 1960´s. Thanks. I was only four years

old then but I remember the time by these

songs my father played all the time.

  • Kiva että tykkäsit :)

  • Enpä tiennytkään et olet meikäläisiä !

    Kiitti kuitenkin. Tarkoitin, mitä sanoin

    kankealla englannin kielelläni.

    Lisää samanlaisia biisejä !

  • tosi kaunis kappale :)

  • version trop theatrale. celle de francoise hardy"comment te dire adieu " est 100 x mieux

  • Majestic Introduction and

    beautiful interpretation

    of Dame Vera Lynn.

There not so much to be

    said about the song because

the Lyrics of the Song have

    already explained all-

    It Hurts To Say Goodbye.

  • When we'll meet again ,I mean Sara and Grissom !!!

  • Comment te dire adieuは素敵なアレンジですが原曲もすばらしいですね!

  • A really awesome song...But I need more information about this song...

First of all, when does it date back to??? From the title, it sounds like it has got something to do with WWII, like another Vera LYNN's song "We'll meet again"... But the style seems more "modern"...

Another question: is it related to a movie?

Concerning THE CLIP, it's really beautiful, great job, HANNABERRY2,

It's the clip I've seen the most often on YOU TUBE...

  • I thought too that it's WWII related song, but it was released 1954 and as far as I know it's not related to a movie. And thanks for your kind words. The video is made for GSR people and I'm a bit surprised that also some others watch it - listening I can understand, it's beautiful song :)

  • Fahrenheit, Originally written in French Comme te Dire Adieu (How Could I tell you Goodbye) performed by Francoise Hardy, the one who sung for Monaco in 1963. Her recording was late in the 1960's, which shows Miss Vera Lynn was the first one to perform it. Now the question who is the composer. I thought it was Serge Gainsbourg of the notorious J'etaime Moi Non Plus.
  • I

Take me in your arms and hold me tight.

Tell me that your love is mine tonight.

Say that everything will turn out right,

    It hurts to say goodbye.

Let me know the thrill of your embrace,

    Memories that time cannot erase,

While I kiss the teardrops from your face,

    It hurts to say goodbye.

  • II

    Wherever you are,

You will always be near to me.

    Wherever I go,

You'll be here in my heart.

Till the sun comes shining through again,

Till we see a sky of blue, again

Till I'm back with you my love till then

    It hurts to say goodbye.

  • Thanks!! Thanks!!! I have been searching for this song..all my life!!!!

  • you are welcome :)

  • memorable one!!!!!!!!!!!!
