  • I have been looking for this for years! Thank you!

  • oi she gunna do a run up!!!!! INSIDE IT!

  • they should show tha art work we put on tha system hahaha

  • Notice the young gay person and the old gay person.

  • One of the bidders for the desalination plant is Veolia Environment, They are a parent company of Connex , Look out Melbourne

  • Veolia (Connex at the time) should be shot for making a mess of this song.

  • wait, something's wrong.. this doesn't happen...

....a morning train and only one guy is standing?!?!?!

  • my daddy directed this ad! ^_^

  • good on him, it didnt even work

  • screw you. your face didn't work

  • just being honest

  • well don't

  • real interesting video

i also found this song on world issues, how the world is changing, the viedo is great. its from an australian artist.

    search: Surreal Feel Good Inc.

    a great viedo. must see

  • There's a difference between being a joyless old crank and a realist. If u had any idea whatsoever about how bad Melbourne's public transport is u wouldn't see the funny side to these commercials either.

  • oh yes... and i'm sure sheena easton is to blame! it's the operational management that are respoinsble for the service, not the people who star in their commericals!

  • i never said that sheena easton was to blame for melbourne's public transport problems.what i'm saying is the money could've been spent on something worthwile ie more train services and better customer service.

  • you could say that for anything barbs, however one would argue without advertising less people use a service and thus less profit and less money coming in anyway. in short, advertising usually pays for itself many times over. throwing money at a problem doesn't mean that will improve a situation anyway. if management is crap, it is crap regardless if they spend an extra 100k or not. maybe the problem isn't the funds.

  • maybe if u were from melbourne you would know what i'm talking about.

  • Welcome to Melbourne :)

  • yes, this is where our money is going. into crappy ads with a washed up 80's singer connex are laughing all the way to the bank

  • verry catchy add hehe i have never seen this on before.

  • I'm from Melbourne, it's the most hilarious video i ever seen. Too abd there were complaints about this ad especially Sheena shotuing. Luckily it wasn't abnned for our screens.

  • SO FUNNY.

  • Who would ever have thought that you'd see Sheena Easton at Burnley Station.

  • greatest ad ever.

  • burnley station

  • Holy crap, you're right!

  • Yes, that is Burnley station. at first i thought it could be glen waverley.

  • LOL..this commercial is pretty funny

  • New motto for Connex

    CONNEX: Like you've got a choice !!

  • true that

  • wow i forgot abnout this ad ..its so much quieter than the real traqin but just as packed ^^ lol from the city to lilydale is the WORST at 6pm and i mean the worst.

  • Take the train, if it arrives.

  • good ad shithouse company i want the met hillside bayside back :'(

  • Otherwise the advertisement is very good. Good music and good photography. Although not an accurate representation of Connex.

  • trains in melbourne are just indian students and pedophiles staring at you. taking the train is soo not like that

  • Interesting observation. They need to make it look somewhat appealing. I don't mind the Indians but the paedophiles and lower socio-economic thugs are concerning. The concept of public transport with minimal on-board railway authorities and unstaffed railway stations ensures that I will unfortunately continue to drive and produce mass carbon emmisions.

  • your a freak lol

  • Well, they're certainly the most visible. But then, Indians are showing up just about everywhere in Melbourne's inner city, not just on the trains. I don't think they are disproportionate on public transport.

Though like anyone or any group that loudly speaks in a foreign language in public, they do get annoying.

  • I do agree, speaking a foreign language in public which is not the official language of the country which you are in then yes that is very rude in this country and in most other countries I have visited. Probably not in India but they need to learn that it is the case in this country. It is doing great harm to race relations. I don't mind Indians in public but do mind if they are speaking their language in public.

  • Anyone know what station this was filmed at? It looks like Burnley

  • Yes, it was filmed at Burnley.

  • I was going to say it looked familiar!

  • I think she screamed because that song became known as the song that was her career..... and she wanted to escape it, and yet there it was...

  • very good!!

  • This ad should be suitable for all passengers to watch out storkers.

  • why was shenna shouting? some Pohbia?

  • Now, if we can get that started in most trains across..the world, that'd be awesome! :D

  • sheena is truly fabulous! she has such a great personalities, at least what's the impression i get from both this commercial and all the interviews she's made... great stuff!

  • lol i remember that add. good stuff

  • Hmmm.. somehow I could not see this happening on the 17 minutes past from London Victoria to Littlehampton.. Maybe It was a good thing Connex lost the franchise to run our trains in England!

  • well thnk goodness they did lose the franchise i cld never have put up with bad Karaoke alongside the poor condition of the train, delays and overcrowding ... i only made the fatal mistake of goin London Victoria to East Croydon in Crush-Hour once

  • I'm with her. I'd scream too if I know I'm listening to them sing the very song that made me famous ALL THE WAY TO MY DESTINATION!! Yep I'd scream too.

  • LMAO - I hope Connex is better in Oz than they were here in England!!!!

  • Well believe it or not, Connex current has the contract to operate the Los Angeles/Metro Commuter Express buses and it seems they're doing a pretty good job. I'll get back with you if the contract with them gets renewed or if it goes to someone else.

  • Connex is actually just in the city of Melbourne. Not the entire Australia.

  • kita kore!!

  • I like it!

  • haha thats what happened when u havent had a hit in a fucking long time.ppl still remember it

  • Too funny! Thanks for posting it, I never would have seen it otherwise! ;-)

  • That is so funny. haha. Connex used to also do the train service here in England, but they lost their francise a little while back due to poor service. I guess they were not as fun here as their service in Aus.. lol:)

  • BAHAHAHAHA!!! Hilarious!

  • I ENJOY TOO MUCH

  • Absolutely FABULOUS - You have just got to Laugh at this one every time you see it

  • Hillarious!

  • i love sheena!!!!
