Update: Both the mic and webcam are utter crap. Even for something as low-def as video calls. If you're planning on using it for vlogging you're going to be sorely disappointed.

The N310 is pretty tight, I don't think you can beat it for a mainstream netbook, but if I had my $400 back I'd buy a "Touch Book" from Always Innovating. Check it out first before you make up your mind.

Depends on what you're running. I've gotten over 9 hours when just using it for data entry. When playing HD video it was more like 4. 5-6 hours is probably a good average, under normal usage.

This really is the one of the best netbooks for your buck. It has a great keyboard layout, almost full size keyboard, edge to edge screen (I hate glossy though,) and 10 hours of battery life. Plus a nice rugged design (No finger prints!)

Hey neotoy..what do u mean by low resolution? i thought comparing to other laptops n notebook , the samsung n310 has a good resolution screen?

Resolution is 1024×600, a lot of newer netbooks are going with displays more in the HD range, say 1280×720. I have a laptop I bought in 2005 that has a SXGA display (1280×1024), so a display with a max height of 600 pixels is pretty "low resolution" for a modern display.

i put on windows 7 on the same netbook and upgradet the ram to 2 gb andit runs perfectly and i use it for microsoft office and some half-life gaming and some pretty little games

LOL thats a load of crap. i got mine for 1250. it has a 13" screen, four times a much ram, twice as much storage, and wont break if someone looks at it funny. also considering just how much better the mac OS is, i would probably pay the extra 500 bucks just to not have to deal with vista. and if you are going to argue with me that vista is not absolutely terrible, you know yourself that you're deluding yourself

The Go doesn't come with Vista, it comes with XP, and actually I referred to Vista as "shitty" in the video.. No argument there.

Bigger isn't better. Also I bet you don't get 10 hours of battery life with your MBP!

i dont understand the argument... this isn't supposed to be better than a macbook pro. u cant play hd videos or do anything to intensive on it... netbooks aren't meant to be main computers... i have a 1005ha-p in addition to a more powerful laptop and it's one of the best purchases i have ever made. by the way people wont be forced to change to vista because windows 7 is coming out which i have installed on my netbook and is sweet

I've been using Windows 7 for almost a year now on one of my other notebooks, I wouldn't recommend it for netbooks, even with 2GB of ram.

i meant stream hd video from like youtube. and windows 7 rc works better than windows xp on my 1005ha-p with 2 gb of ram. from what i have read everyone seems to say good things about windows 7 on netbooks
