@Mauke08 Rhinos has the thickest almost like an "armor like" skin on the animal kingdom...so if i am a Lion, I would rather chase an old buffalo than to risk my life...chasing off an angry rhino..LoL

@Mauke08 Rhinos have armored-like skin. Plus their sheer size and power make them VERY dangerous. They are much quicker and agile than elephants, which makes them more dangerous to lions than an elephant would be.

it figures, lions are scavengers like hyenas.....its possible if a large # of them was to gang up on one, maybe a sick and old one .....theres a video on here that shows it took over 30 adult lions to take down one elephant .

Rhino died from a wound suffered in a fight with another rhino. Lions didn't kill it. Horn was not removed by poachers. Lions are feeding on the carcass (the hind-quarters). Those are the facts.

@njdemondeac, you know that there is a fact that Pride of lions have killed adult rhinos, and its a true fact look it up by your self.. now in this case i dont know what really happend becouse not al prides does hunt se kind of animals. for example the famous pride that hunts elephants on nights.

Lions are capable of killing Rhino, as long as there are enough of them, they chase the animal until it is exhausted, attack it from behind, and when it eventually collapses they eat it alive, the same way they do with adult elephants...
