Why don't people squat and do it as nature intended with the help of gravity? Doing it this way and the hospital ways it's like taking a crap laying down - not going to be easy.
yeah, birth is so dangerous and risky, and hospitals and fucking medication have been around since the beginning of the world! nature has it's own way of caring for us and all around us.............. embrace it, we are designed for this!
i find it kinda gross giving birth in a bathtub, pool, or any water!!! The reason is cuz ur sitting in blood, sack? and other stuff that comes out of you and the baby during the process and after and before!!!
this is depressing, theres no compassion from him at all,fuk im a lucky lady my man was so involved as he should be as he was the one who made my beautiful babies with me i never had to ask hes fantastic,he didnt look as miserable as this guy and we were so emotionally and spiritually intune . but anyway, good on u for a homebirth ide love to have one but ive had multipul births and they all end up with cords round their neck so its a risk, ide love to do this in my own home :O(
why is thenhubby sooooo miserable?...yo should be ovr the moon...smile for goodness sakes :)....instead of reading carton or cup pore water on her belly....pft!!
id strongly suggest you do the waterbirth. Lol. Im having twins due next year in january. i had a two waterbirths before that when i was 15 and the other at 17 and now i just turn 20 i find out im having twins. Lol. so yeah, waterbirth takes pressure off your back and you float. Lol. so soothing. =] congrats btw. =]
@amyj86 Yea I have a tip go to the freaking hospital, stop having babies at home like the old days shit has changed nothing stays the same, something can go awflully wrong like the baby not breathing,no way to tell if your blood pressure is up and the time it takes you to get to the hospital it can be fatal.
@voxmel You dumb uneducated fuck, I am a RN. My husband is a Ob/gyn. You do your home work, a midwife is a RN (for the illiterate) Registered nurse. That took a extra class to learn about the practices of an OB doctor. You moron having babies at home is HIGH RISK AS POSSIBLE. Go get educated before trying to drop some fucked up knowledge.
@Newyorkgurl20 sorry but the language and anger u speak makes u sound very uneducated .. if people want to have babies at home so be it .. why would u choose to watch this and then put it down with such a filthy manner .. oh well people can be rude ..hawaii girl 30=). god bless =)
@Newyorkgurl20 what the hell are u talking about ?.... welfare whore ?/ where did u come up with that one .. and u dont even know if i have kids or not .. so how did u come up with u support my fucking kids ...
@Newyorkgurl20 I find it funny that you are college educated and you use terrible grammar! You both must have graduated by the skin of your teeth. IF YOU were educated you would know that home birth is not as high risk as possible. Every mother has a different pregnancy. A hospital birth is necessary for some, but thankfully not all! You should think about continuing your education...
@Newyorkgurl20 Before I read this comment I was thinking I bet you this is a nurse or a doctor. Sure enough... Not surprising... Every one of you Medical idiots think the same thing about birthing. Until you have been strapped to a bed by fetal monitors, and IV's, laboring uncomfortably in a position that causes your contractions to be more severe you have no room to express your opinion. It's all STUPID and REVOLTING that none of you are there to keep the mother happy and comfy.
Thanks for sharing your experience, its beautiful. ANd you are amazing for having a natural birth.. that is wonderful ;)..God Bless you and your child..
I was extremely scared of the hospital too. but i was in labor in hospital ven my doctor realized my baby had passed meuconium and had to operate in emergency c section. i realised we r so blessed women like us who live in developed countries and can afford and get medical aid when required, my baby was absolutely normal and fine but due to unpredictable circumstances had to be operated out, if i had been an unfortunate women in africa, then maybe i would hav lost my baby, or i wud hav died.
@kshamaf just as a side note: i've seen births where the baby passed meconium and there was no problem at all! labor progresses more gently and your body can open more freely when you're at home, therefore less stress on the baby and less chance of any complications.
after watching your birth i am sorry you didn't get to see your baby come out. sometimes things dont work out perfectly, but you did get some great footage you can always watch. thanks for allowing me to be apart of it too :)
@Newyorkgurl20 i think having a baby alone in the middle of nowhere would be more high risk than at home with a midwife.

The bathtub looks small, it must be uncomfortable to lay in while giving birth...?

@Newyorkgurl20 You are wrong. Home birth is safer if you are low risk, and midwives are much better trained than medical staff. Do your homework.

with intimate people, it looks to me as a beautifull labor. Congratulations!
