Hey Trent, how does it feel for one of the oil company's biggest cheer leaders to be living next to a toxic waste dump along the coast of Mississippi? The reason that solar in all its forms is so expensive, and not commercially competitive is that the oil companies don't like competition. They all "diversified" and bought the companies up, then kept drilling
ive fished in the gulf he cant even tell the truth about the fishing. i love the way that it dont work but the big power and oil seem to discvourage us from it but they are buying all the rights to it. And whats truely ashamed is people vote for this idiot. Just remember you cant live without air and water and ill leave it at that, think for your self america
It is absolutely terrifying that this man has any say in any policy anywhere. Equally terrifying is the huge number of uneducated people who cannot fathom a better future, and instead believe in "religion" and "faith." If you need heat you don't pray, you turn up the thermostat...religion is a shown as it is - a farce-whenever it is juxtaposed with common sense.
It is so telling to see him "retiring" as the fruits of his labor bear down on him. That sucking sound is the republican party following him out the door...."mah necka the woods".
No difference between Rep and Dem. They've gotten us where we are. Never for an R or D. Engery will for rich stockholders and we will be in the same place a decade from now. Google Brazil energy. Way ahead of our idiots in Washington! and we probably had R/D sending our taxes to Brazil.... for the American made carborator...
In centuries past the right honorable Senator from Mississippi would probably have been among the religious zealots who condemned Copernicus for claiming that the earth revolves around the sun.
In 1970, 77 percent of Sweden's energy came from oil, but by 2003 that figure had fallen to 32 percent. Renewable sources supply 26 percent of Sweden's energy needs. Sweden has moved to the forefront of the world's "green" nations by setting an ambitious goal to achieve a completely oil-free economy by 2020—and without building more nuclear power plants. just google - sweden oil dependence

Trent Lott is kind of a nut. He does not seem to care about the environment and instead cares more of pollution.
