Thank you, I was thinking it was the tach but I was confused with the "blinking light", it looked almost like a wierd radar.

what is the wierd light thing in the middle of the dash? The biggest gauge, closest to the middle?

@FandRRacing It's the tachometer. Shutter speed from the camera is the same as the tach.

Still pretty poor quality. I'm not happy with the XC I bought last spring. Check out new GoPro HD - THAT is what I call quality!
