This was an enjoyable anime...but I can't deny the fact that this was not my favorite. Yea... .hack//Roots was more enjoyable for me.

I originally started out w/ Legend of the Twilight - then went on to Roots which I thought was so amazing...and then came to this which was just good for me. And that's just for me.

Personally I liked the music in Roots better...but the music in .hack// is always good.

It existed at one point, not to the full extent seen in the show of course (That much is impossible, for how the characters move ect) But it had most of the features of "The World" I believe. Besides there's next to nothing to separate a real version of this from other mmos that would draw in people that are not fans of the .hack series really/

The only reason why Naruto seems retarded yet kind of awesome to me is because their trying to be like Ubisoft or something and go into psychological depth but their not so good at it and their powers are starting to become retarded. :( Sasuke's cursed form could have been way better. I used to love all the manga from Shonen Jump, but seeing it as an anime just made me hate it... And my second oldest brother is watching One Piece and Bleach and my younger brother is watching Naruto, but not me.

Filler sorta killed it's momentum anyway, by the time Shippuden came I think a lot of people either dropped off or simply skipped the filler to get to the series' sequel motivated by hype- but as soon as the hype died so did the extreme following from those swayed by the original Manga.

Interesting visual of the mask during the ending...a good reference to everyone having some other identity and purpose inside The World. I'm still trying to figure out the idea behind having Lady Subaru standing on the end of the staff that looks like the one Tsukasa was carrying!

IIRC, its because, in the end, its Tsukasa that helped support Subaru/Tsubaru (Japanese version) through everything that happened. And that she relied on him/her to go beyond what she originally was in the World.
