I get tired of many other musicians, no matter how skilled. but roland dyens is always new.

"all the things" perfectly counterpointed with a chromatic fantasy bassline, wow ! never heard such a stunning version.

Only few guitar players have combined classical playing technique with jazz guitar style, i think of laurindo almeida, charlie byrd, bola sete, baden-powell and others.

Now roland dyens continues this lineage on a very high level.

I saw him in San Luis Obispo last week. What a genius! Fun to watch. He is unique. One of the most creative guitarists I have ever seen.
