it was a double. i know this because he is my uncle - he broke his tailbone, bruised some ribs and has some scratches on his face. other than that he is okay.

it's good the hear that he is ok. it was great that he did it considering the landing spot was so small. even though he was hurt, he managed to get up and finish walking to the stage. Thanks for the update. Hope he's feeling 100%.

The crash obviously wasn't staged. He is a pro, but even pros can't control the weather. He is okay. Cracked his tailbone and a few vertebrae but was a total trooper about it.

The guy was held for overnight observation. I know the people that help set up the jump. The winds were shifting and the landing area was way too small for this jump. Had the field been open it would of been a much better outcome.

Obviously it wasn't Larry, it was part of the show. The Lincoln Journal Star confirms that the jumper was injured although he refused to be taken off in a stretcher.

Any ways this guy jumping was from california, and jumped out at a stupid low altitude!! Hell and what was he thinking doing S turns at like 100 feet? Whatever at least he walked away!!

The local paper reported the face laceration and back pain. I was sitting at about this same vantage point and you could see as soon as he got into the stadium the current changed and it was going to be bad. This video has the sense that it's sped up but that was how fast he came in. We believe his target was the patch of green you can see there.

well this idiot heard he cut his face a little and hurt his back, but dont know any more than that. they say it was the wind currents that changed inside the stadium that caused his landing target to be missed

Considering he had a helmet on and lots and lots of padding on and got up right away tells me it was staged.

Padding doesn't help your back if you hit at a bad angle and your helmet can cut your face on impact. I'll take the word of the retired Air Force guys I was with on if it was a bad landing and not staged. Or the paramedics that came for him with a stretcher!
