man, lots of mixed feelings about this. 1st...guitar work is perfect, from the notes to the feel. Singer is dead on with pitch. That being said, Layne probably had/has zero in common with these guys..and grunge was about being yourself, these guys are obviously all made up for the public. Singer also tries really hard, which is great..but watch layne, no effort singing this song..because he was an artist. These guys are just not, but talented for sure...

@benmark1219 It has nothing to do with trying too hard; the singer is trying is just putting his emotion into a very emotional song. Yes, Layne had no problem singing this song, but that was because it was his/AiC's. This isn't this singer's song so he wants to leave his mark on it and do the song and Layne justice by putting emotion into it. It's an amazing cover nonetheless.

WTF?! The lead singer is very reminiscent of Corey Glover from "Living Color" and loved it! Good harmonies and well played. Give 'em a break, it was pretty damn good. @jarbarian I agree with most of your statement, but the problem with the lead singer is his voice is wayyyy to nasally. He should stick to pop punk music, because his voice is not good for anything else. When he hits the high notes, it sounds like a chipmunk is chewing on his ball sack. He isn't singing with his diaphragm, his singing with his throat and it sounds awful. The "please dont leave me" cover was excellent, but he completely ruined this song, as it requires a strong vocal range.

Yo no offense but this guys voice sucks....He sings through his nose, his high notes sound like someone plucks a ball hair on his sac every time he goes for one. Not impressed and certainly nowhere near doing AIC and Lane S. any justice...That's just my opinion though
