  • i remember when this was our only source of song clips

  • i had respect for the beatles because they didn't sell out to rock band, guitar hero or band hero. i see i was wrong. is there any true rock bands anymore?

  • dude relax, this game will bring the beatles back their popularity and stand to gain them a whole legion of new fans, that will want to find and buy their music and learn everything about them and that won't hurt the beatles at all, especially their pockets

  • OMG IM GETTING IT REALLY SOON

I hope it looks like soooooooo much fun! BEst game and band ever!

  • lol "who the hell wrote these lyrics" XD

  • "It's not about money.... it's about sending a message..."

    - The Joker, "The Dark Knight"

  • .......That too!!!!

  • wow. amazing quote. this could not have more to do with this game. amen

  • why dont they release a demo on marketplace or psn

  • never gonna happen. demos are meant to sell a game i.e. convince someone to buy it. nobody, including myself, need convincing that beatles + rock band = automatic WIN.

  • Because they don't need to. Stores will be sold out of this game by next Wednesday night.

  • "HOO TEH HEL ROT THEES LEERIKS?"

  • Who wrote those lyrics you ask?

The Beatles did and they are GODS!

  • The whore at the end bitching about the lyrics needs to BURN.

Either way, my mind was just blown and I cannot wait for this game!

  • Whoever said who wrote that needs to be shot! No lie

  • That fool should go prick himself

  • what the,.....i don't get the connections...... wow... something about a tower and a walrus.......wft......disappointment....someone kick this guys ......wow never mind.....

  • I like how you think how you are a decent Beatle fan.

    Because you're not.

The Beatles only wrote and recorded a single song when they were high; The Word.

  • actually, john lennon claimed he wrote the first two lines when he was on acid, but no they were not high when they recorded this

  • no, john wrote the first 2 lines on 2 seperate acid trips, they never recorded high, except for the word.

  • so what's your point sometimes drugs make you write great songs

  • Anyone else feel like throwing a full soda can at the head of the guy making those stupid comments at the end? "Huh-huh. WHo wrote these lyrics" "Must be a Liverpool thing!" Probably thinks it's a reference to another rapper the Beatles had a "beef" with. Or whatever it is Limp Bizkit tends to sing about.

  • id rather throw a brick....

  • Bahamutzero they were on acid. I'm not criticising them, that was a fact from the anthology series.

  • Once again; I was quoating the moron at the end of the vid. I already know the story behind 'I Am The Walrus' & it's one of my favorite songs of all time.

  • seriously if that guy doesn't like the song than why the fuck is he listening and watching a demo of it?

  • I am the Walrus starts at 3:12 so you can skip the talking

  • Exactly, what an ignorant piece of shit.

  • Are people actually stupid enough to think I'm the one asking this?! Shit people, put 2 & 2 together, I was quoating the moron from the end of the vid.

  • new way to get "star power" for drums

  • yea, so no one does a shitty fill and totally disgraces Ringo and the song itself.

  • ok whoever the guy that asks for lyrics is it was ritten by john lennon and paul mcartney like most other beatles songs

  • ...I love youtube.

  • Lol and screw the dude who was asking about the lyrics and shit. He's CLEARLY not a Beatles fan. I don't even know why he was there haha.

  • no sera e3

  • the durmmer is pure suckage

  • The girls screaming and jumping at 0:10 are pure win.

  • lol. 3:14 FAIL!!! XD

  • this guy talk too much

  • yeah shit fuck him..

  • someone should stick a cock up his ass...oh wait thatll make him scream even MORE.

  • I second that "who the hell wrote these lyrics?" - Ummmmm... maybe... John Lennon?!?! I know, not everybody is a Beatles fan. (That's too bad ;) )

  • i hope the next rock band game won't still have the Beatles style. The vocal thing looks confusing

  • well it looks like that cuz there are 3 vocalists so blue is one vocalist, and brown is the other making th main singer the middle track i bet when the real one comes out if you singeing solo it has only the main vocalists lyrics

  • There's an option to have the chart contain all the vocals or just the main one just before starting the song, but since harmonies are one of the selling points, I doubt we'll see any of that before September. By the way, does anybody have any idea if the "talky parts" do anything? It seems that they have no affect whatsoever.

  • Apart from crysis, these are my favourite character models in a game

  • LOL i heard one smartass saying "Who wrote these lyrics?!?"

  • i know what an idiot

  • yea seriously i mean the beatles are fucking legends dont be hating ya know.

  • i know hes probably getting way more crap too

  • OMG I LOVE I AM THE WALRUS!!!!!!!!

  • i can't hear it. the speakers on my comp. are broken. i hope it has helter skelter!! :D such an energetic song

  • the lyrics make perfect sense to me =)

  • At least this song in the game while finally teach people that it's "Goo goo g'joob", and not "Coo coo c'choo" :P

  • Didn't I just see that same post on gamespot? lol

  • yes you did

  • "who the hell wrote these lyrics" haha ahhhh kids these days

    6:15

  • who's the tool in the background asking who wrote the lyrics??!

  • ya what fucking prick

  • I hope they have Revolution on the game.

  • they do now..

  • They do :]

  • @ People who complain about the glasses, they're not playing the Magical Mystery Tour video here. They're just in the 'dreamscape' that kinda looks similiar to the film.

But basicly this is the guys recording the song rather than performing it, and it is perfectly normal for John to wear the glasses in the studio.

  • I Am The Walrus begins at about 3:10, for convenience. =)

  • thanks (:

i had been waiting for that song :P

  • *LOL* at that man in the audience talking about the lyrics.

  • wait, why is john in the walrus costume? Paul was the walrus! lol, john prided himself with these lyrics because no one could ever tell what he was talking about.

  • John was the walrus in the original video. He also said he was the walrus again after 'Glass Onion' in 'God', don't know which is right though. Anyways, 'Glass Onion would be totally awesome in this game.

  • Glass Onion would be awesome.

also, didn't is say somewhere that paul was the walrus? and the walrus was death or something? i'm not really sure on that though. but you are right about john being the walrus

  • Yeah, Glass Onion said that Paul was the walrus (here's another clue for you all, the walrus was Paul). But 'God' came later, and said that John was it (I was the walrus, but now I'm John), that's why it's unclear. I personally think Lennon was just messing with all the overanalyzers in Glass Onion though.

  • I think he was talking about the song in general in God, seeing as he was the one singing the song. He's basically saying in God that he was a part of The Beatles, but now he's just John. But if you look at the cover of Magical Mystery Tour you can see the John was the rooster thing (he has glasses) and Ringo is the Hippo (ring on his pinkie). So I'm a little upset about the mix up of costumes, but it doesn't matter ALL that much. :]

  • Lennon was not sporting the granny glasses at this time. they need to fix that. He didn't start til 67-68 during the White Album

  • No, he was wearing them on Magical Mystery Tour. But he removed them for the I Am The Walrus performance, you're right about that.

He started wearing them during the Sgt. Pepper era.

  • Duh, what was I thinking, your right. Yeah I knew he didn't wear them for the "Walrus" video. It stick out like a sore thumb when I saw this.

  • smh these guys messed up big time

  • he started wearing those glasses after starring in that Vietnam movie in early 1967.

  • The movie was called "How I won the war" and it was a WWII movie not Vietnam An it was in 1966 when the film was shot, right before the Beatles went into the studio to record Sgt. Pepper. The post I was making and meant was that Lennon did not wear those glasses in the original video..

  • XD @ 6:15

"who in the hell wrote these lyrics?"

  • to me he seems like an idiot. like, who really cares? it's the beatles man! haha

  • Completely wrong. John was a genius and he didn't write a song to confuse some stupid class. It was only his weirdest beatle period. Brilliant song. If you don't get it yet, ask the guys from Oasis.

  • Um...he DID write the lyrics after hearing of a class that analyzed Beatles lyrics. What Oblivion didn't mention is that it was John's old class at the Quarry Bank school, the same class whose teacher used to call him talentless when he was young. He thought this was hilarious and that was indeed what prompted him to write this song.

Obviously he didn't write a song JUST to confuse people at his old school, but it is 100% fact that this was the initial inspiration.

  • lol I don't know if that was your friend asking about the lyrics or not, but there is a story behind them.

Some school started having a class that studied the lyrics of the Beatles songs. John (I think it was John anyways) got wind of this and decided to write the most confusing thing he could think of to see what that class would do.

  • WHAT?! HOW?! WHAT?!?!

  • Wow, what's it like not liking MUSIC?
