Ok... i dint know u had uploaded a piece of your own stuff and its amazing... many gz m8, its amazing :) Maynard influences from APC years are obvious but this is so yours... I keep watching on your stuff m8, cheers!!!
APC suck in comparison, also due to APC sucking it showed that Maynard was not as much of a key factor in Tool and therefore not as good a songwriter as expected.
APC really didn't suck, they were just had a totally different playing style and sound than Tool does. dont get me wrong, i'd choose Tool over APC any day of the week. but if you are gonna bad-mouth Maynard's songwriting then i'm going to have to draw the line there. just look at the lyrics songs like Parabola, 46 & 2, Pushit, and H. those were some of his greatest works! besides, APC was a temporary side-project so don't worry about them making a comeback.

He sounds a little like Chris Daughtry, but man - he's got some TALENT going on here. I play piano at about his level, and I've tried singing along while maintaining that complexity, and trust me when I say, this guy is making it look a lot easier than it really is. I love the song and love progressive rock/metal, but somehow I think the song needed a bit more of slow parts to let us *flow with the music*
Specially after "barely anything left" and at the beggining of the piano transition

Yeah, I agree the piano part is a little heavy. I tend to play a lot of notes... When I officially record this I will def arrange a more dynamic piano part. Thanks for your opinion ;)

Maynard's work in APC was nothing.
Listen to some Tool.
APC suck in comparison, also due to APC sucking it showed that Maynard was not as much of a key factor in Tool and therefore not as good a songwriter as expected.

APC really didn't suck, they were just had a totally different playing style and sound than Tool does. dont get me wrong, i'd choose Tool over APC any day of the week. but if you are gonna bad-mouth Maynard's songwriting then i'm going to have to draw the line there. just look at the lyrics songs like Parabola, 46 & 2, Pushit, and H. those were some of his greatest works! besides, APC was a temporary side-project so don't worry about them making a comeback.

He sounds a little like Chris Daughtry, but man - he's got some TALENT going on here. I play piano at about his level, and I've tried singing along while maintaining that complexity, and trust me when I say, this guy is making it look a lot easier than it really is. Way to go man, awesome stuff here.

that was beautiful, so much passion and emtotion, you gota mad voice plus the paino isnt just acting as accompinament with simple chordal stuff, its accually a pretty decent piece in itself... n yeh i agree with gunthrious you should sing some Puddle of mudd covers, i rekon even tool or perfect circle would match your voice pretty well 2.. keep up the good work mate
