Games used to change a lot on the old consoles. I you compare this game to Golden Eye and Golden Eye to Perfect Dark. You could see a lot of graphical and other improvements. Now modern games all look almost the same on PS3 or 360, even PC.

I know a lot of Duke fans hate this version due to censorship, but I'd still like to play it as it still looks like the fun factor isn't stripped out. Heck, One Piece: Grand Battle on the Gamecube had to be censored (4kids), but I still like that game.

Duke nukem,doom,quake and turok are proof of that Gameplay beats graphics. Im only 19yrs but i prefer these games in front of the new. My Example: Duke nukem 64,gaming time above 1000hrs total and still playing, Bf3,cod: gaming time 12-24hrs total and stopped playing. Halo,gran turismo and the elder scrolls is probably the only modern games i can play for a while.

I'm a retro gamer and all (it's great to see someone like you around my age with taste by the way!) but can you really enjoy Duke Nukem 64 for 1000 hours when mouselook controls, graphics that can be significantly upgraded and potentially LAN Dukematches are all available on the PC version? Not to mention 1000 hours on one game?

As for those modern games, you'll probably like NSMB Wii multiplayer and the Wii series if you find most modern games a drag.

@cannotbebothered100 you mean duke nukem 3d or the n64 remake tc(pc) version? i do spend alot of time on duke nukem 3d no doubt. I just like the sound effects,atmosphere(the white buildings,the blue skies etc) and the weapons better. i Played the n64 before the pc version so the n64 version is what i grew up with and it brings back many good memories. Me and my sister was playing this game with bots all the time but i also enjoyed the single player ;) . Fantastic game indeed

Well you don't really have to aim on a vertical axis but the game uses the Turok-style controls so you're kinda forced to do that ^_^
