Oh I so understand those happy feet! She's a beautiful vessel, similar size to Leola. Today it's raining, but the forecast is better Sunday so hopefully Joe can get out with his dad and mine for the first sail of the season. Does Tokomaru come out of the water much? Cheers, Lesley
Hi Lesley - yep looking better for the weekend here too! Toko usually comes out at end September and goes back in during March (just in case of early good weather!!) Cheers
We tend to leave Leola as long as possible but still insured! But we are often fairly late getting her back in just because of the volume of work she takes. Swings and roundabouts in terms of how much sailing we get to do. At this rate the cost of driving the car is going to be as expensive as how much a mile it costs to sail her! L
Not on this occasion Pod - unfortunately Capn Paddy's boaty bed had just been washed and wasn't dry enough to allow him to come aboard and bark his orders in comfort. The crew just had to get on without the usual supervision......

Don't you think up front is the most exhilarating place to be on a boat?

I like to sit just for'ard of the mast using the mast as a backrest. There's nowhere quite like it :o)
