  • hey those videos are nice !!! you re not telling any opinion about music or else, just showing some thruth in the world of metal !! do more of these !! ( there is other similaritys between band i m sure of that ! )

  • @arrackattack Thanks. Maybe i'll make another one some time soon.

  • ANVIL!

  • awesome vid. and if you ever make any other metal on metal videos you should put vio-lences psycothic memeories and nuclears assults something wicked cause they both have the same drum intros anyway keep on thrashin!!!

  • The 2 Minutes to Midnight sounds more like Welcome to Hell by Venom.

  • why are we all talking shit about metallica? cum on guys i know metallica was the first band that got almost all of us in to metal so don't talk shit!!!

  • Enter Sandman - metallica

Tapping into the emotional void -Excel... even the intro is the samee

    Excel FTW!

  • deathrow is 10 times better than metallica!

  • GREAT VDIEO!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yeah, Varg said that "War" was to remind people of Bathory, there's also another band that uses the riff, but I can't remember the name for the life of me.

  • i guess it's better for a metal song to sound like another metal song instead of sounding like a pop song or hiphop. LOL

  • BTW when i saw the strike of the beast by exodus i knew that the song that it sounded alike was total death.

  • metal!

  • the call of kthulu riff is used by atleast 7 other bands LOL

  • This is awesome video, HAIL TRUE METAL !

  • white spirit took that riff from Budgie's "Wildfire" from their 1978 album Impeckable. Maiden has covered Budgie tunes over the years from my understanding. Kinda funny I guess.

  • i tink the video is really good.enter sandman don't suck buts is a very used riff before, was composed for trouble and excel in 1989. and after megadeth in trust have bit of this sandman riff.i remember exodus exodus is similar to trapped under ice,the openning riff of that two songs.sorry my english is not good.stay heavy.

  • Another one to go with the Burzum War one is Deathrow Winds of Death.

  • it's quite possible dave did write that riff in phantom lord. they recorded many many riffs ona tape recorded that didnt see the light of day for years afterwards.

search on youtube for metallica unreleased garage jam! u can distinctivly hear dave humming the four horsemen riff that was added after he left while lars is humming some riff!

  • That Iron Maiden one reminds me of Raven's Lambs To The Slaughter.

  • Watch the children pray by metal church souds like phantom lord and this was my life

  • my old band made a song which sounded very much like the running wild song Port royal ( the opening riff), it was like 2 notes apart..

this was not by fault non of uss in the band at that time listend to RW..

  • you can ad a song from bullet for my valentine to the burzum/bathory one, I don't know the name of the song because I don't like'em

  • ThrashHard08 is an insane idiot. I hope you know that.

  • this was just inspired from his video, doesn't mean i praise him or anything.

  • awesome video man

  • thank a lot dude

  • nice video

  • thanks

  • metal on metal. KICKASS NAME!

  • hell yeah!

  • Slayer-South of heaven

All out war for all those crusifid

  • venom welcome to hell

    diamond head its electric

  • 666 VIEWS!!!! lol

  • Diamond Head - The Prince

    Megadeth - Crown of Worms

  • Baby Driver - KISS

Of Wolf And Man - Metallica

  • Crush The Demoniac by cro-mags

    Aces High by iron maiden

HAVE A HUGE SIMILARITE IN THE VERSES

  • Nvm i just watched thrashhard08's vid and he already did that

  • Anvil? But why?

  • because it's "metal on metal". a funny title for metal similarities . my next part is gonna be called "iron on iron". a great song by emerald

  • whatever just make it soon.

  • Mandatory suicide by slayer and For whom the bell tolls

  • where is there a similarity?

  • around 30 secs. exept there is like one extra note. then after it but not as much, too many more notes but it still sounds alike kinda to me. both great songs

  • indeed. thanks.

  • slipknots psychosocial ripped off a nuclear assault song, i forgot which though

  • somthing wicked

  • slipknot is not "metal"

  • Cal Of Ktulu was ripped by Toxik

  • and heathen

  • Maybe Dave wrote the bass on phantom lord...or they wrote the interlude but never used it when Dave was in the band..whatever

  • you might be right about that.

  • Hey! Great Video... similarity between "Flash Rockin' Man (accept)" and "2 Minutes To Midnight", "Agent Orange (Grinder)" and "Agent Orange Sodom" .

  • thanks!

  • where is there a similarity between agent orange (grinder) and agent orange (sodom)?

  • although they are not so similar, I find it a resemblance to the guitar riff and bass, I find that has the same shape as the agent orange and death squand, ex: (Grinder 1:28 min,2:49 min)(Sodom 1:08 min, 2:40 min)and (Sodom Riff 2:31 min - Grinder Riff 3:08 min), I find that in similar, but is a review of each.

  • BURZUM RULES!!!!!

  • Great vid. I had noticed similarity between enter sand man-get stoned and mad butcher-executioner

  • thanks man, I'm posting the second part soon so be sure to check it out

  • The beginning of "I My Darkest Hour" sounds like the second pre-verse in "For Whom The Bell Tolls" which sounds like a melody in the solo to "Fairies Wear Boots" by Black Sabbath.

  • rotfl even the singing ritam is the same in total death and strike of the beast,i always knew that there is a full load of copyed riffs at kreator.but i never knew that they use some from exodus

  • Hey you forgot the similarity between venoms welcome to hell and maidens 2 minutes to midnight

  • i used white spirits "midnight chaser" instead because the welcome to hell and 2 minutes to midnight riff had been used by baknblack

  • yeah

  • For the metallica-call of the ctulu part that starts at :45 I could have sworn you were going to put the beginning of Sepultura-Beneath the Remains.

  • These would be cool if they played LESS of each song. 10 seconds of each similar part in the songs would be more than enough.-

  • i see how both song are similar bur Deathrow's has more emotion.

  • In my darkest hour and agent orange have the similar triplet (or 6/4) feel however the chord progression is different and sodom is actually using flat out major/minor chords but taking out the fifth, instead of the straight up power chords in the Megadeth song.

  • The similarity between phantom lord and this was my life makes sense because its daves, but this video is great nice job alot of my favorite songs are in here

  • i actually need to change the video because dave didn't in fact write the interlude to phantom lord which james did when he kicked dave out. if you listen to the phantom lord demo on no life till leather the interlude is missing that's because it wasn't written at that time.

  • when you added meltdown's riff.... i donno, but all of these are coincidence.

  • except for strike of the beast and total death. mille said in an interview (or something like that) that he used to borrow exodus riffs. the beginning of meltdown's executioner riff sounds a lot like mad butcher and total death

  • Darkness and Slayer part don't really match.... and couple of others. but fuck it.

  • when i first heard iron force by darkness i thought to myself (damn this sounds like tormentor) but you're actually right it doesn't but there's like a second where it sounds like tormentor. and the others you're thinking of are probably war and necromansy.

  • Nice video,

Its kinda new but Lamb of God's "Laid to Rest" is very very similar to Testament's "Into the Pit"

  • yeah i know but it had already been used by backnblack

  • Enter Sandman and Spontaneous look a bit like each other comparing the notes. But when looking at the atmosphere, Spontaneous is way better!

    Keep on Thrashing!

    oh, don't forget:

    GLAM = Gay LA Metal!

  • enter sandman sucks compared to spontaneous, enter sandman (and metallica in general) is way to overrated and toxik is fucking underrated.

now that you mentioned it: fuck glam! (especially poison, if they had tits i'd fuck em, seriously lol)

  • Yeah I agree about that, but I still like old-Metallica. You know, Kill em All Metallica is my fav. band!

  • kill em all is an underrated metal classic by an overrated band. i love kill' em all, ride the lightning on the other hand isn't that good the same goes to the other album (master of puppets and ...and justice for all) they're good but overrated.

  • Cannot agree with you more man!

  • wow i never realized how much kreator ripped off strike of the beast haha

  • cool vid, ive seen a vid like this before. dude seemed like a real megadeth hater. he said that the she wolf, 100 times goodbye, and sleepwalker riffs were all ripping off chemical warfare

  • that was backnblack, i made this video after watching his videos on similar metal songs. and yeah that chemical warfare riff is just a typical metal riff just like with the intro to hit the lights and aggressive perfector
