  • Is it just me or does it kinda looks like your a bit under powered for 2000 acres?

  • We'd like to go to one 16 row machine, but we can still get everything planted in 10 days with the two 8 row machines.

  • How many acres do you have and what part of Canada are you from? Im from Ontario.

  • We farm about 2000 acres in eastern Ontario. Somewhere between Ottawa and Montreal.

  • what's the row spacing on your soybeans?

  • We generally say 30", but in reality it is till european spacing ( 80cm or 31.5" . Worked out better for tires and everything.

  • ah, i know what you mean about the tires. i'm pretty sure ours is the metric version as well, but i know the corn planter we run is true 30". great vid and equipment btw! who makes the other non-deere tractor that you were running?

  • That would be a Hurlimann. Then built by SLH Same-Lamborghini-Hurlimann and now run by Same Deutz Fahr.

  • oh cool! when i first looked at your video i thought that's what kind it was but i wasn't quite sure. how well do you that tractor? never owned one myself but i've heard from other people that it's a pretty good tractor.

  • I like it ,but it has its perks. The tractor is built like a tank. Components are built much heavier than need be. Ease of service is not it's strong point. But it has power. Dif lock in front and back. 170 pto Hp.

  • that's the kind of tractor i need then! this one's air-cooled, isn't it? i've got a lot of the deutz engines on generators and pumps and they are great engines. never had a tractor with one though, but i'd like to get one.
