Thanks for posting! I never visited this area back when I lived in san francisco ( mid 1980's) now I wish I had. love the surf and wave scenes, great ambient sound!
Very nice place, I love SF, I was there fron 1996 to 2002, now I´m in Europe, but I woud like to go back in SF for visit friends and the city, is a beautiful city......
I'll bet that the beach and bar-b-que area is not very well used, I went once to Stinson beach, it was just so cold and gloomy looking -compared with Sydney beaches -there are many more beautiful things to see in San Francisco, though; I've been back ten times at least.

What sort of camrea was it that you took this with, it is very clear and it has a wide angle type lense and so captures a lot of scenery in the frame.
that "big pipe thing out in the ocean" is a bouy; you will notice there are some rocks just to the left of it; must have been low or mid-tide, marks shipping lane so ships won't hit submerged rocks during high tide.
