Red it is without doubt one of your best. I am amazed it has only been viewed by so few.I love it. Add this to your Keating Rap and Obama change I look forward to more of this quality.
I love this video. The use of the morphing technique on Palin who twists words and ideas out of their original context to her own use literally turns her back on herself. Fascinating! Brilliant! Take it further! I wish I felt more sharpness in your political point of view, as there is in hers.
But who am I to talk?
The country song sadness touches an intangible quality of regret, missed opportunity, and fear for the future which Palin represents to me.
I've listened to this maybe 100 times and it's the best constructed piece of music I can remember since Dark Side of the Moon (OK, I'm showing my age). Red meant it to be a pisstake. But it's full of endorphins.
Red still rocks after all these years. You make radio mornings bearable - sadly you have little competition these days - they all sound the same on FM. Keep up the great work. Hey Red, just realised, they dont have flip sides anymore ...you'll have to rewrite that song too
Interesting thesis, ugly image ;-) Fanny doesn't mean in the US what it does here and in the UK, so maybe that means it doesn't quite work. On second thougths, I guess that makes it worse...
To clarify, in the US, 'fanny' means back-bottom. In Aus and the UK, we're talking meat curtains, not mud flaps. so 'pushing hard with the fanny' in the US would mean...
Sarah Palin is guilty of child abuse. The way she threw young Trig into high-stim environments is shameful.

Fades too early. Maybe you could have repeated the last few seconds with the soundtrack, but clever nonetheless. What a tuneful dullard she is!

Actually, "fanny" means the same thing in the US as it does in the UK. I think the choice of lyrics were intentional, here.
tedward316 3 years ago
No it doesn't. Anyway, we're in Oz (UK meaning).
Damn you Symons, this has invaded my brain!

Don't explanations just drain humour? :)
celestemoon 3 years ago
Mea culpa, guys! I thought that the "meat curtains" definition was an antiquated meaning of the word. I learned something today!
P.S. - Normally explanations drain "humour," (I'n using the Brit spelling in deference to you) but in this case....
