  • Dear Remo,

I have grown up listening your albums. Your songs are like the language of soul. "It was a sunny sunny day", "Mister Minister" was amazing.

Somehow I cannot find your's lullaby song that was in the album "Pack that Smack". I cant even find the album now.So sad.

  • HEY , REMO ARE YOU WORKING ON VIDEO CLIPS ON THIS SONG ?I WISH YOU DO BROTHER.I LOVE THE VIDEO CLIPS OF THE INDIA I CRY.IT WAS A STRONG MESSAGE.WELL GOOD LUCK BRO.

  • @SEBYUSA23 No, there won't be a music video, I'm afraid. Prefer to keep it simple, stark, and give more importance to the lyrics in this song.

  • @TheRemoFernandes

hey Bro y dont u come out with a konkani song about Corruption coz u know goan ministers dont know and understand ENGLISH....... so pls pls pls Bro just one

    IN KONKANI...........

  • @bondferrao, the only 2 languages politicians understand are MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. And POWER, POWER, POWER.

  • Bro you don't even realize the seriousness of this issue. So just stop posting crap that doesn't even make sense

  • Hi Remo !

Our Friend in HK, Eric, asked us 2 listen 2 your song.

    Good one man !

U have done da right thing.

Good lyrics and beatz, the message gets delivered !

Thanx 4 letting da world know.

    - Lucius and THE OLYMPIC MUSIC MESSENGERS -

  • Brilliant Remo. Love your work. Straight from the heart.

  • I am doing my bit even at the ripe young age of 70 !! with Carmen Miranda and her team. Save Goa Campaign UK

I was praising you for your songs and encouraging other tallented singer to do the same as you. You must have caught the bull by the tail and missunderstood my message. Keep on promoting on the Internet and visit our website and get others to visit our website.SaveGoa Campaign UK

  • @donwins4free I didn't misunderstand you at all. The condescending tone of your first post [about Indian or Goan artists learning to use the Net for these purposes 'at last'] made it evident that you were a Goan who had left Goa and settled abroad. We often get such attitude from migrants, inferring that those of us who have chosen to remain in our homeland and work for her, are just about wading out of the swamps. I'm afraid I don't suffer them lightly.

  • Hown about a modern song about the greedy mine owners, turning Goa into a man made Grand Cannyon and a desert. 28 yrs ago there was No Internet. I am asking you to use the Power of the Internet and your songs, to stop Goa going from Green to Red.

  • @donwins4free Been there done that, Don. Listen to "India, I Cry" before writing any further. And please, you don't need to ask me to use my songs to stop Goa from going to the dogs, or to use the Net for that purpose. If at all, you may want to thank me for having done it already, pre-Net and post-Net.And like I said, do your bit instead. Thank you, and bye.

  • @donwins4free I'm afraid you're quite a few years late, Don. "Goa, Goan, Going" is a song I recorded and released 28 years ago, on an album called 'Goan Crazy!'. And this is not the first socio-political song I've released on the Net: that was "India, I Cry" over two years ago. After one composes, records and releases a song/video with a message for free, its up to people to spread it around. I look forward to you doing your bit on that score, and I thank you in advance. LOVE INDIA!!!

  • GREAT SONG REMO....SHYAM JUST TOLD ME.....

  • @ghalibmeer Thanks so much, Ghalib! Its Shyam's song too, as you know! :-)

  • @TheRemoFernandes jokes apart,its an awsm song..chills me everytime i feel it..thnks a billion...:D

  • sonia gandhi disliked it..:p

  • @viinbi Hahaha! I wonder why?! I thought she'd be against corruption too? :-)

  • Thank you Remo you are great, may the Lord give you good health and many more years.

  • Cool guitar riffs and lyrics. Cheers from Oz

  • @superbling69 Thanks, Bling! I'm guessing you're a guitarist too?

  • @TheRemoFernandes I just play acoustic and I'm no expert by any means. Having said that, there's nothing better than the feeling of plucking/strumming familiar tunes and soothing the soul. It is an awesome feeling!

Thanks for the reply though, very humbled to have got a reply from you! Have a good one!

  • @superbling69 You're so right! Here's wishing you tons of soothing plucking and strumming always.

  • @TheRemoFernandes Thanks for the wishes Remo! It is not everyday that ppl like me can get encouragement from superstars like yourself.

I cannot fathom the fact that you actually took the time to do that! Thank you!

  • thanks Remo... great job... salute your spirit and effort...

  • @nakulddun Thank you, Nakul!

  • Super! Remo. Its gone to the basics of life. All ministers should be made to stand before yhis AK47.of life

  • @madhavnsujatha Thanks a lot, Madhav & Sujata! Let's hope so! :-) But ministers are immune to all criticism. Its up to us to dethrone them or keep them in line with the Lokpal Bill, I guess.

  • Amazing........have been your fan for decades......you always seem to out perform yourself ! from your home town song "Siolim" to "Bombay city" to something that now related st to the whole country...... Amazing ! Proud of your talent!

  • @kodasvatsa Thanks very much for your good words, Koda!

  • @hamidashraff Its not meant for you, Hamid. Only for people who are against corruption. You can go join the politicians - come to think of it, it appears you're a part of them anyway. Take care, all the best!

  • Good , we need this song and much more

  • @Nitinrastogi18 Thanks a lot, Nitin! 'Much more' is definitely right!

  • way to go Remo. You were always penning and singing songs with similar themes way back from 1975. Pity a similar movement was not started much earlier.

  • @madannair That's true. But songs alone cannot start a movement, unfortunately. When a great soul like Anna comes along, the songs take on another dimension. And everything fall together perfectly at the right time! Thanks a lot, Madan.

  • TOO GOOD SONG AND VERY NICE LYRICS AND GOOD MUSIC GOD BLESS YOU REMO IN GOA YOU ARE ANNA BEFORE ANNA YOU WAS FIGHTING FOR BETTER GOA , LET SEE HOW IT WORK VERY HAPPY TO SEE AND TO HEAR YOUR SONG. LONG LIFE AND SAVE GOA REMO.

  • @stevbels Thanks very much Steve! Yes, I wrote my first anti-corruption songs 28 years ago, but unless a great soul like Anna comes along, the songs by themselves don't have much power, not in a country like India, I guess. It all falls into place perfectly at the right time though. Thanks again!

  • @tirikamtel Curious thinking. You save Goa, we'll try and save India.

  • Superb!! Thanks Remo!!

    Ure the best!!

  • @LIHKIN9827 Thank you!

  • Rock Remo Rock ! Keep up the good work

    your fan

  • @alexpachec Thank you, Alex!

  • A TRUE Artiste who is against corruption and corrupt ministers.i urge our goan konkani artiste to learn from remo to fight against this corrupt n criminal ministers of goa instead of inviting them for chief guest for their shows and praising them and gaining cheap publicity singing songs again them.congratulations to you REMO we are with you..

  • @goansoul Thank you very much! Though I must say that some Konkani artists do have the guts to produce 'teatro's with very strong messages against these politicians. The last such 'teatro' I saw was Prince Jacob's "Kednam Uttolo" [ I think that's the correct title]. But thanks again, Goan Soul!

  • Thanks Remo, we know you are always against Corruption and corrupt politicians.

This song was much needed specially from great singers like you - Padmashree Remo Fernandes. Thanks again, from all of us.

  • @JoeUkGoa Thank YOU, Joe!

  • Remo is one in a million or even more than that. He could give a Pied Piper lead surrounding all our ministers homes in agitation against CORRUPTION in Goa. Imagine if Anna Hazare was with his Lokpal about 2 to 3 decades ago, who knows what, our Goa would have been like a paradise but now it is almost paradise lost ! Anyway, once we do away with the stinking politicians & elect some hopefully fresh & clean faces, we will see some improvement in Goa. Until then, God Bless Goa ! Viva Goa !!!

  • @65alphonso God bless Goa indeed! Thanks for your good words...

  • Hey Remo, this is truly hard hitting and well laid out. Kudo oh Bharat vasi.

Next we'd love to hear, see a remix of Politicians don't know to Rock 'n' Roll.

    Jai Bharat

  • @TheJackweiser Thanks a lot! Am working on the new versions of all my old albums, and hope to have them all out before the year end! Take care...

  • @TheRemoFernandes muito obrigado. I was enthralled by Ocean Queen and still wish I had it on CD.Bring it on Remo. :) Viva.

  • @TheJackweiser All my older albums are in the process of being digitized, and will be re-released soon, Jack! Thanks for the interest!

  • beautiful song Remo..

  • @giantnpin Thanks very much!

  • Corruption has come big time to Goa since the invasion of 1961. Time to get out of this rut.

  • @tirikamtel You said it!

  • A timely reaction from you in a sweetly tuned number. Pround to be your old pal. Ashok Saikia

  • @abhishek1315 Hey Ashok, thanks so much for your comment! Yes, proud to be your old classmate too! :-)

  • Remo you Rock again dude..

    i just remake ur song:

    -------------------------

    "Ek hogaye hum aur tum,

corrupt ki udd gayi neende re..

jo Janlokpal ab paas hua to..

    mar jaayenge, chor saare..

    Anna, Anna, Anna Anna Anna..."

  • @scomatrix007 Hahaha, you've come up with a really nice version of Humma Humma! Thanks a lot!

  • BEAUTIFUL SONG, WELL COMPOSED & VERY WELL SUNG.. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK VIVA GOA...... VIVA REMO.

  • @TheRollycat Thanks very much!

  • this guy is getting embarassing now...where is that remo who made tunes. come back soon!

  • @tattvaa Thank you for feeling embarrassed, but really, you don't need to! All you have to do is not listen to my music. I'll let you know when I think you're worthy of judging my 'tunes'. Till then take care, and all the best!

  • Remo, keep on rocking in the free world! fantastic tune and sharp social satire! This is the time for us to come together and fight for Gandian ideals! A big thumbs up from Avi & The Uprising and a whole generation of Indie rockers who grew up listening to you!

  • @tabhu Thanks very much, man! Love your song too! Yes, all of us musicians can and should come together and contribute as much as we can towards this cause!

  • FANTASTIC SONG, ONCE MORE REMO THE FAVOURATE FROM HAMMA TO IAC

  • @sunchampaa Thank you! So glad you appreciate it!
