I think humans can love robots the same as they love one another. Look at how a huge amount of people love there cell phones ipods ps3 and etc. But will it be the same when it loves you back?
@DrDeso1 That is somewhat true, but not all people will want to cause conflict. Only those who seek to destroy something "perfect" will be the ones who will start the conflict. However, again you are right.... for our generations have become lost to sex, drugs, violence, guns, money, crime, etc.... only if people didn't strive for something will they not cause conflict. But as we are taught younger.... we have to be better to get the best. So, then corruption is ensured.
It's movies like this that make me scared of the future and man's ability. I know it's fiction, but in 50 years at the rate we're advancing at, who is to say what's possible?
I literally cried the hardest I have ever cried in a long time while watching this movie. It's sad to see how cruel and cold humans can be.
It really struck a cord with me the fact that Davyd truly ended up being able to feel more love and compassion than any human he had met ever showed him. Humans are what's cold. Not robots. The fact that humans need to create artificial life just to fill the purpose of having something to feel closer to shows how under-evolved we must be as a species.
i naver have cryed at films, usaly i just feel like crying and then i just carry on, but this film... after watchig it estrday, made me cry my eyes out.
I'm such a loser. I watched this remix, then i read the plot of the story on wikipedia, watched this again, and cried hysterically. I think it was also the fact that i was feeling very depressed lately, so it must have contributed to me crying so much...but the fact I HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN THE MOVIE makes me feel so stupid :(
@Winxin864 Shame dude :( never read the plot to a movie on wiki unless you know its definitely not worth watching. This is a great movie and I'd recommend watching it in a while when you've forgotten the plot a bit! Oh and hopefully feeling a bit more positive :) Good luck from Ireland :)
@Marveh i didn't read what happened, i only looked at the ending to see if it was sad. So there's still a bunch i'm confused abt, so if i watch the movie, i'll understand...and the movie's sad....i'm still gonna watch it....just not now...lol but thanks
I've must of listened to this remix about 20 times over and haven't got bored of it's emotional impacting beauty. Pogo, your a legend creating this remix... I wish I was half as good as you. Your inspirational :)
This movie was so beautiful and underrated, thank you Pogo for doing this mix and sharing it with everyone else. I had seen this when I was little and it moved me. I forgot the name, but seeing this again spurred on memories I had forgotten I had. Don't EVER stop making mixes <3
Everytime I come across a great vid, maybe just a classical piece of composed music, or and evergreen.- their is a dislike?- Sometimes I dont get that button, because, there is not constructive critiscism. Just a- "I Dont think this is good". Why do you take your time to dislike something you couldn't create yourself, and something that has done no damage what so ever.. This is beautiful faggotron. I had this on when i was sleeping. I usually never dislike, unless it is false advertising..
@PajamaLass That's what I love most about Pogo. He transcends just making a remix like some remixers I know *cough*Mike Relm*cough* ... He captures its essence in sound!
This video should have allot more views than 345,394. The terminator remix has more views tan this, and honestly (no offense Nick) i think this is waayy better!
Hey Nick Bertke, I love your music and your sense of nostalgia. Your music inspires me as a young kid, 15, and I supported you on kick starter to travel to Tibet to create one of my favourite songs of all time.It would be so great if you could just even respond to my comment. Never stop, never quit.
I like your floor. Let's not walk this-is, how-, can the-, come here teddy. Time, come here teddy, dress-, I found you (you, you) Is fifty years a long time? Come here teddy, Henry shook me. We can bring. Go to sleep. No. We can bring-you, (ah) I can't, Martin. We can bring. Go to sleep. No. We can bring-you (ah) I can't Martin.
A.I. is an unappreciated film with morals/depth beyond human comprehension and imaging beyond its time. Beauty is an accurate word for this film. And pogo did this movie justice by creating this delightful remix. Thanks Nick.
@beesnipe16 simply put, you cannot comprehend what it is like being an android with an A.I. and wanting to seek normalcy and a place that will love you for what you are. To understand what Davyd went through, you would have to be in his shoes. Seeing as how we do not have android's like Davyd currently, i see this as an impossibility.
@ROFLthatsme Monica is dead but because of teddy he can spend one more day with her then she falls into a deep sleep and he sits there by her forever and ever with teddy too!! :D
I must admit...if they were to play Pogo remixes of the movie lines to his own tunes at the end credits of every movie he's done this kind of music for, I'd actually experience more emotion for the ending than some of the stuff they put there these days...in fact, I'd even say it would feel more like a complete movie when I walked away, since his remixes capture the entirety of the movie's atmosphere and main theme.
When I first found this video, I had not seen the movie. But this made me want to see it. Now it's one of my favorites and I can't watch it without crying
Ok, if you really want to watch the movie, you can on youtube. Look to the right of the top comments and it is the 2 1/2 hour long video labeled A.I. Artificial Intelligence *HD* - Part 1 of 1.
I have to say, I think this remix is one of Pogo's greatest. (Not to say they all aren't great!) But this song, from start to finish, really explains the tone of the whole movie, especially at the end, where the song finishes on a somber note. It's sad and beautiful, just like the film itself. Well done, Pogo. :)
2:02 on is like...the best part of any pogo song. i frigging love it. that panning sample with the bass kick hitting into that chord- so so so so good.
I am only below the age of 13 but older than 10.(don't want to say my real age!) and this movie made me burst into tears at the end. It is so sad. But Steven Speilburg strikes again with another amazing masterpiece. Although parts are really disturbing.
@thehalzy This movie really is quite sad...But it's beautiful I remember the first time I saw it, it frightened me and made me very sad. I'm fascinated with the concept of Artificial Intelligence, so it really is quite a piece of art to me. Sadly, I don't really want to see this movie anymore, that's how much I liked it, and how oddly uncomfortable it made me feel (uncanny valley, anyone?) . This remix however, perfectly matches the delicate, innocent tone of the movie.
@JuicyBeatboxing I watched this when I was 5.. I didn't understand the philosophical part about it at all, but I had this strange feeling which I can remember, very nostalgic.
I found you. -Smile-

@JuicyBeatboxing I watched this when I was 5.. I didn't understand the philosophical part about it at all, but I had this strange feeling which I can remember, very nostalgic.
