Is it possible to do this via USB? Whenever I try to move the file from my HDD to my USB storage device, I receive an error that says I am not able to transfer the file to another device. Is there any way to circumvent this?

I have found the heavywepon section where you use the numbers as a bookmark for the correct area. However, I do not see the _player part of your heavy weapon string. Also, this is the only heavyweapon section that has the 2 rows of numbers you have as a location bookmark. So I have the right area. Also when you move 6 bytes I am not in the same column as you. I notice that your running at a 16 view, which I am as well. Is there a new section I should be looking at?

I was just wondering if there is something else you put in for the max ammo because i did the 8 bytes over and put in FF FF and then when i load it up in the game i only have 255 ammo instead of 70,000 like you mentioned. Other than that though everything worked great. Nice Video.

I am at the step where you delete your file and put the new one in and its not letting me add the new the file in. When i drag the file over its not letting me put in the file.

Are you trying to put in the same one you took out or one of the ones in the root folder? It has to be the one you originally took out.

I'm in the middle of my third playthrough, and was scanning for some minerals, got bored with it, and thought, "Hey! I wonder if I can hex edit the save..."

This saved me hours of sitting there scanning planets for minerals, and the other stuff are great. I played legit for a few playthroughs, and saw almost all outcomes (1015/1015 GS for the 360, too); I think I'm allowed to "cheat" now lol

ok i just spent forever getting all the tools downloaded and ready and getting my 360 memory unit attached to a usb cord haha and now ive edited my save file, deleted my old file from le fluffie... and i go to drag/drop my modded save file into its place and it wont let me!! when i drag the file in, it just keeps giving me the NO symbol (circle with slash through it)... why could this be????

For those of you not familiar with Hex the (A1 2B) stuff :) you can open up calculator or calc.exe from the search bar or in my case ole winxp sp3 in the run box by typing calc. Then under View change it to Scientific. Then you can go to Hex type in the value the highest being FF the lowest being 00 and switch to decimal to see the number. FF is 255. Hexadecimal or Hex is a number system that uses 16 instead of 10. So in hex 16 == 10. hope that helps

I want to make sure before I mod my save that i still can get the level 30 ach, I'm level 24 right now and I'm about to start my second play-through. So if I mod my guy you are positively sure that it will still let me level up? It's better to be safe than sorry

Yeah sure if you don't mod ur level which I don't show here anyways. I just show it's location and not how to mod it.

The only way that u wouldn't be able to level up anymore is if u mod it past 30.

Hey when the Suicide mission Clears all the ammo mods if you go and redo them will they show back up ?

plus for the heavy ammo I think you have to mod it specifially for each weapon...and they have a max that I dont think you can go over...try using the particle beam and moddin the ammo to like 750 or something as a start maybe ?

and try it with the hvy ammo upgrades at 5

You can say "Allow" for your internet to download a file, you can also disable the firewall, download file then turn it back on.

Yes somewhat! Just search for their names and if you know their ability points count already just look around for that!

This might be a lil confusing at first. Just search for the characters name, find their level(if you know it) and count over four bytes(blocks) and that's your characters points!

Just use Modio to rehash and resign the main save after you've edited and injected the file back into with le fluffie!
