How do you get the clock and the dock?

As I have said many times before, the clock is a screenlet which can be found in gnomelooks, and the dock is cairo-dock. You can google them easily. ;)

Well, the side-panel is not cairo-dock. It's screenlet, however, I had to install some extra screenlet items, which can be found under "Screenlets" sub category in gnome-look

Or you can use Google Gadgets as well. It's really good.

I know after reading the comments that people have asked this b4 but I stil don't completely understand. cairo-dock is the docking bar at the bottom of the screen but the side panel with the clock and system information is that also part of cairo-dock or is that something else??

The main issue with ubuntu and compiz is that it takes a lot of time to have something classy and yet not too heavy on effects... At first all those affects are funny and amazing, but it's really quickly boring.

Linux its not 4 stupid kids with a piece of shit 4 computer. this its one of the best versions of Ubuntu. and windows can not say a shit about it.

That song is "Uranium 238", from a Vietnamese metalcore band Nuranium. I don't think you know them ^^

If you ask for the media player, it's the default Totem Media Player included in Ubuntu. But I think you are asking about the Media Center. Well, it's XBMC Media Center, a great Media Center which is used widely in XBox 360. It makes laptop a great Media Center in Ubuntu with my remote control :x
