the AQ men had higher ground and from the looks of it more cover. So if you were to switch that around the Seal and rangers would be winning. Make it on even ground, the US forces would be winning for sure.... but thats not how things work. But I would not say AQ men are better... they just had a tactical advantage.
Tactical advantage are you kidding? Yea higher ground gives a slight advantage. But not nearly as much as high tech weaponry and air support do. They had no supersonic flying jets w/ 20mm cannon and 500 pound bombs to call in. No reinforced armored chinook helicopter w/ 20 mm cannon, 50cal machine guns and M75 grenade launchers. They didnt even have body armor on, theyre just towel heads wearing fuckin robes and flip flops w/ AKs and RPGs. Light weaponry and no air support. Odds were 100 to 1.
wow....all this with AK's and a few old rusty mortars? I dont' even wana emagine these guys with plans and high tech weapons.
