This was actually a GREAT buy. Don't regret it at all. And a tip to anyone who buys it, view it on Google Chrome as this browser was pretty much built for YouTube.
Good video, although it abruptly ended/cut off as you were making your closing statement.
Also, I would have liked to hear what area/neighborhood you live in and why you chose that area specifically.
It would have been nice to see the outside of your house and the yard, etc. too. And maybe some talk about the home builder and some of the brands of furniture you have.
How do you keep your house clean? Do you hire someone or do it yourself?
Very nice video Chris. Thanks for sharing your most personal space with us. I'd assume once I get my own place, it will be very similar to yours in the sense that I also like to pay close attention to detail.
Enjoyed it! I love your houses attention to detail! I hope you'll make this available for download in a few months, i'd like to keep it and future tours to enjoy the evolution of your home!
@lockergnome Yes, but our YouTube purchase times are going to run out. Everything's going to get pirated one way or another, no matter how hard you try. You may as well try to embrace the dumb pirates instead of resisting them at the risk of your fans.
I really enjoyed seeing your entire house Chris! I also liked hearing you talk about your future plans to expand your family. Great video all in all, and well worth the $7.
What a great video! I think next year you could improve upon the lighting as some parts of the video were really dark. But over all it was worth my money and I can't wait to see next year's tour.
Any sympathy I may have had for those times when you complain about having had to buy something yourself because you couldn't find a sponsor... is now completely gone.
The camping stuff - I think we'd all like to see more of the Great Indoorsman series.
I wanted to watch it because (1) I had never seen downstairs, and (2) That upstairs hallway has always bothered me, turning to the right and disappearing into oblivion. Plus, seven bucks is nothing.
Thanks for the video, one thing you will have to try in next year is see if the cameraman can adjust the exposure manually. So that when he looks at the windows it doesn't go really dark, or when you were in the basement where there wasn't as much light you could adjust it to let in more light.
Being someone who shoots pictures having proper exposure is something I like.
Thanks Chris! It was nice to finally see a house tour! Well worth the $ :) Im looking forward to seeing all the changes next year. The more details the better in my opinion. Id love to see the outside of your house, it looks nice. Happy Birthday Chris and thanks again :)
i have to admit i was a bit put off at first over the fact that you have to pay $7 to watch this video. then i thought all the free info i've taken from lockergnome over the years and well $7 seems more than fare.
Holy shit Chris. Your house is huge. Idk why I'm so interested in someones home but I guess I'm just that interested in your videos and technology. Your videos help me so much as far as technology goes and I thank you for that. Thanks for the great tour of your home as well. Good luck in the future!
@lockergnome I don't think it would be that much of a violation of your neighbors. I mean, anybody driving by their house would get just as much of a view of it. The only thing that you might be cautious about is exposing your own address to the internet. I look forward to next year's!
can someone let me know if i did this right 7,170 views times 6.99$ =50118.3 cuz **** if you want to pay you mortgage for a month i think you are set for a year
Chris, I enjoyed you house tour. I want to thank you for allowing us to see your home(which is very nice). I'm glad I could pay you for your entertainment and help throughout the years of watching your videos. Happy belated birthday as well!
Thank you for the awesome and in-depth tour Chris. I have watched your videos for years and you have been a true inspiration to me for technology and just how awesome it can be. The price was well worth it, I hope the goal is met for the mortgage and I wish you all the best <3 :)
just purchased it and watching now! was hesitant to at first but I figure you do A LOT of work and have provided a LOT of help and entertainment, not only for myself but for the entire YouTube community! Thank you!
Chris, it was a really nice, in-depth tour. Enjoyed it much. Don't see why everyone is complaining so much. If you want to see it that badly, just pay for it. Anyway, you really have something special there.
7 bucks well spent and a queston how are other ways you keep your electric bill down to 200 my house is about the same size i think and mine is like 500 bucks
@quadcorewhore - Kinda. I know I need to do more with the area, but I'm more anxious to move those extra printers. It's becoming a tech graveyard down there!
@Tarrant64 - Thanks for taking the tour with me (virtually). Trust me, though - you could probably produce the stickers on your end for much cheaper than they'd cost to ship. :)
Great Video Chris. Mind Commenting on a loyal viewers channel.. Hope this gets the 1month of mortage out of the way. lol Good luck with your piracy hope.
@TechJamieTech - That's the goal. :) Since I'll have the video online forever, it should continue to attract new viewers over time. It'll certainly be fun to watch next year to see just how much will have changed!
Chris here is a present from me to you...because i love your videos soo sooo sooo much.... i can't find anyone as knowledgable as you when it comes to tech...and i mean everything tech related..........!!!! you are great have a great birthday!!!!!!!!!!!
