I've always wondered how much the burst powder and stars weigh in a shell this large. How heavy was it (not the shell but the stars and the burst powder)?

Rarely do you see a heart shape shell break so perfectly. Usually you have to shoot up 10 at a time and if you're lucky 1 will break facing the crowd like this one did.

you put in the stars in the shape of a heart...prity simple

Its really that simple? Wow and all this time I thought there was a complicated design behind the whole thing

you just take a half shell...fill it up with gunpowder..then put the "stars" in, at the shape as you want it. and then take the other half with gunpowder to close it.......thats it

then get it to fire on the right angle, break evenly, which requires skill in pasting the shell, etc...

@FireIwithoutIwire What keeps them in that shape when it explodes? The explosion can't be that proportionate exactly on all sides at the same time.

hehe wow great that u got it right to, sometimes they tend to turn around or be on the side..but thisone was perfectly shot. great job(not for you realy can make anything about the spinnigns and so on but^^) great video however.kinda cool with a 5"heart shell, iv only donne 4"hearts so:)
