  • Thanks Bob. I'm working on yet another one of the birds.

  • What can I say Walter, pure genius..and fascinating to watch these beautiful birds that are so unfamiliar to us over here...5* Bob

  • Walt all I can say is wow excellent video

That has to be the best video that I have seen on these birds so close up.

When I used to camp away up noth on a island we put up a feeder like that and we would sit there and watch them for hours.

You are very lucky to have them around your house.

  • Wayne,

I do feel fortunate that they come to my feeders so regularly. First cuple years I had very few, then it was like someone turned on a lightbublb. There are more and more every year. I think it has to do with my cedar trees close by and so much honeysuckle and stuff growing nearby, but maybe they just like me LOL Thanks for watching

  • Fantastic video!!!!! You got some amazing close ups. I agree with you on humming birds being fearless. I have some video on humming bird when I went north but it's not as good as yours. Thanks for sharing Walter.

  • Thank You Hans

  • You certainly produce some interesting videos Walter! 5* Mike

  • Thank You Mike

  • They appear not to shy away from humans, is this the case ?

Wish we had humming birds in our garden.

  • Ive found that If you dont make any sudden movement they ignore you

they are so quick they fear nothing
