it's not stolen..if you have the CD you'd find that Ziad Rahbany clearly stated the origin of the tune which is by the way a french song which was translated to all languages around the world. I'd call it adaptation of the music and not stealing it.

yeah you're right almost the same melody the same idea ; I like Fayrouz's songs but this is fake this is "plagirism" I think at least they must acknowlodge the source from where they inpired this musical piece.

My friend, this is an extraordinarily lovely piece by Fairuz as usual.

Fairuz is not in need of taking songs wrongfully, she has many of her own, that have earned her prestigious awards and titles- praise and accolades for her good work.

She always gives credit where deserved because she has deep respect for art. Many artists have made covers on her original songs as well.

I know very well where all of those songs came from originally if you were implying knowledge of music was limited to you alone.

You bypassed what I was trying to say: She has her own songs, and when she does do covers on others, credit is ALWAYS given.
