@mrclassickids - Sorry, but Mel Blanc didn't do Elmer Fudd - Arthur Q. Bryan did EF. (I think once, in a pinch, MB did Fudd, but usually it was Bryan.)
@WSenator1 Well actually MB did Fudd a few times after Bryan's death, then later he was done by Hal Smith, who was Otis Campbell, Mayberry's town drunk on "The Andy Griffith Show".

@golddemona Not only did Mel do Barney Rubble, but he did him on his back in his bedroom in a full body cast! He was recovering from a bad car accident. So they took the microphone into his bedroom and he recorded Barney's voice there.
@cartoonvoicesguy After he was in the almost fatal wreck with his sports car, the paramedics at the scene took extra care to save his life, because one of them saw his driver's license and said "Hey guys! We got bugs Bunny here!"
So he was in a coma for a long time, but wouldn't come out. Finally one of the doctors had an idea: He started calling him Bugs Bunny, instead of Mel. Mel, even though he was in the coma heard it subconsciously and responded in Bug's voice "Eh, what's up doc?"
@cartoonvoicesguy From there on he began to come out of the coma, and eventually recovered. It must have been the subconscious link he had to Bugs that triggered his awakening and subsequent recovery. But he was in the body cast, and as I said, they were making the Flinstones cartoon at the time, and they took the mike and recording equipment into his bedroom while Mel lay on his back in that cast and recorded Barney's lines that way. Incredible!
@jennyandkenny23 I couldn't find a good clip. Sorry. Besides which, it's just a small sampling. If you, or anyone else would like to see someone I forgot included, then by all means, do your own because Im'm not doing any more.
