on youtube they are phenomenal. they have to end up together it doesnt make sense enough with luke being with tracy.. i hope laura comes back again. soon i heard rumors of spring maybe?

In my personal opinion, yes, I think they will leave their roles of Luke and Laura together. Their love has been too MAGNIFICENT and has spanned too many years to let it end any other way. (IMO) Also, Tony Geary and Genie Francis really are a part of soap opera history and will long be remembered for their roles as Luke and Laura; I think it would be beyond stupid for TPTB not to give the greatest couple to grace daytime a proper ending. I'm hoping anyway . . .

I hate every time Luke & Laura leave the show. Fastforward to 2008: GH has got to stop with the senseless violence stoylines. The focus is too heavy on the mob and not beauitiful romance couples like what Luke & Laura represent.

I hate it when they leave, also. Luckily (I guess) I wasn't watching the show in 1983, so only saw these scene on LnL DVDs when I could go right on to her pregnancy in 1984, then their great return in 1993. I would have been devastated not knowing if they were coming back--ever. This 2008 reunion/ripping apart surely is painful.
