@xsol1dsn4kex dime or "dimebag darrell" was the lead guitarist for pantera.......til he died in 04....shot on stage with by nathan gale in the middle of a song
i have always considered marty friedman the most melodic of the Megadeth guitars but Poland is the most agressive one! the classic lineup with gar & poland when they used drugs like crazies it's at the same level
@CaliUndergroundSound i can see u don't like drugs but the fact is that they loved them and they need them to play like they did live back in the days, them drugs put them on rails
@xsol1dsn4kex drugs get you stuck on a task, but you dont need em' to focus.. you just have to actually like music to be able to focus enough jus to learn em'.. trust me.. i've been playin by ear for 15 yrz n allz i got outta drugs where blurred memories...
marty has a better sense of melody than dime, dime has better legato. that's the truth, and any guitarist knows it. poland is better than both combined :P
@Romans10Thirteen Thanks for referring me to Never walk alone :] haven't heard that one in awhile!! Definitly one of their most underrated songs, especially lyric-wise. You, sir, are so f'ing awesome!
Demos are always fun to listen to, it's like listening to a famous band playing in a garage band and it's awesome. I wish my garage band could sound nearly as good as this.
Other fans on the net have noticed Dave re-recorded vocals for the songs. Dave also admitted to re-recording vocals for two songs. Remastered RIP does not tarnish the epicness of the original album.
This demo sounds better than the final version on the album. Sonically it sounds great. It is a shame the remaster has re-recorded vocals. I cannot believe a company losing vocal tracks to a good album. Sounds like bullshit to me. They might have been stolen.
Can u imagine what it would have been like if Dimebag had joined Megadeth? I cant imagine Dave's intense riffs and Dimes insane leads together on RIP. IT WOULD BE FUCKIN AWESOME !!!!
that is verrry true! its like you hear the final cut and you'll be like yeah amazing but then you hear THIS version and you are like fuuuuuucking amazing!!!
When were they demos recorded? Were they done when Chris was in the band or when Jeff/Chuck were in? I remember reading somewhere that Chris worked on some of the stuff but I remember being confused seeing as how he was kicked out prior to the So Good, So Far, So What album.
@AlkalineNERV this is chris poland on guitar tho

@PearlJammer07 actually for songs like five magics, they didn't rerecord the vocals but used vocal tracks from demos that weren't released

Damn Dave Mustaine is not a singer.
I wish he took singing lessons so he's learn to breathe and sing properly and shit.
Fucking awesome guitarist though.
Chris Poland's not mary but he's the closest thing out of all the other megaleads
Greatest album of all time though...
Thanks for the demos
