9:30 club.........right near the theater where Abraham Lincoln was assassinated .I remember rats crossing the street with "WALK" signs there (I swear I'm not lying)

The "dressing room" at 9:30 was a spooky catacomb under Washington, DC. The other thing I remember, was they had fresh flowers on the bar. Birds of Paradise (I'm talking 1980) and the manager called us "Mondo guest list" hahhaha. There were so many of us. We had to pay our bar tab, which wiped out the band's pay. hahahaha
