If I had my wish, Ron Paul would have been the guy leading in the delegate count right now. Obama was definitely an afterthought, so I understand your position. But at the same time, the result of the election will affect you in one way or the other (maybe not you personally, but Libetarian's in general) e.g if McCain won and instituted a draft or started taxing your health benefits...so it would still make sense to choose the lesser of 2 evils because it does affect you.

I agree that teachers should be paid more. It's ridiculous that they're not. And see, look at you. You worked your butt off and you're doing well. Why can't everybody else? I just have a feeling that people are lazy. My view is that a lot of lower and lower middle class people are just lazy and don't work as hard as other people. You can do anything you set your mind to. You can work up from the minimum wage job. You can get an education while working. It's not unheard of.

First of all...that's a lie that everyone's taxes will go up. Second, even if I had to pay more in taxes, I would be happy to do it if it was for a better school system for my kids (when I have them) and better healthcare for everyone VS. it being for a tax cut for a rich corporation that's making billions in profits. Exxon Mobil and other oil companies getting tax cuts doesn't improve my (or anyone I know) quality of life but a better education system and healthcare system does.

The fact check website pointed out this was a fib. It sounds better when he said 95%, so it just means that the remaining 50% gets a bigger refund. It's not that they do nothing stupid, its that the family has 4 kids, gross 80,000, 1 kid in college and husband taking classes somewhere...so they get all of their taxes refunded. I agree that teachers should be paid more. It's ridiculous that they're not. And see, look at you. You worked your butt off and you're doing well. Why can't everybody else? I just have a feeling that people are lazy. My view is that a lot of lower and lower middle class people are just lazy and don't work as hard as other people. You can do anything you set your mind to. You can work up from the minimum wage job. You can get an education while working. It's not unheard of.

They are a necessary burden to society...which makes them more of a necessity. We need garbage men, grocery store workers, people cleaning the streets, some1 2 fix our broken toilets, 2 empty septic tanks, to build/fix houses period! If they went away we'd be screwed. I've worked minimum wage jobs...and that is the hardest stuff I've ever done in my life, I promise some of it is way harder than what your parents (was it u or retarded spice?) do. There is not enough money, or jobs or houses or cars...there is not enough anything! Someone has to be poor and struggle. If Exxon has to pay more taxes, we pay more for gas, do you understand that? So Obama wants us to do our part, pay more taxes! Instead of fixing the wasteful spending problem, just tax us more. More incomes tax, less money in our pockets to spend! The fact check website pointed out this was a fib. It sounds better when he said 95%, so it just means that the remaining 50% gets a bigger refund. It's not that they do nothing stupid, its that the family has 4 kids, gross 80,000, 1 kid in college and husband taking classes somewhere...so they get all of their taxes refunded. Or...you're a full time college student working part time, so you get back all the taxes you paid. Are there exceptions? Yes, there is an exception to every rule.

I was making the point that you can't make the statement that all black people were uninformed about the issues when there were just as many white voters who were also uninformed. There were people voting for McCain because he is white. And i never said that all white people thought he was a terrorist. I told place all white people in one category like you place all black people. Regardless of your thoughts about black people, many of us were informed about the issues and voted accordingly.

Every black person I saw at my school though was singing about how great Obama is (yes, actually singing), but they actually knew nothing about him. It just seems a lot of the black people make it more apparent that they are uninformed. heres the deal:
with obama, rich people and most business will be taxed more (job cuts)and business will face regulations they will have to pay for (less profits) but poor people will get pay less taxes yet get more government provided programs
*side note obama also voted to raise the minimum wage (that means less jobs)
with mccain, rich people and most business will get tax breaks (more jobs, better economy) also he will allow for more free trade (more profit= better stock markets)

I'd just like to say that Obama thinks it's okay to "spread the wealth" around, and Biden (in an interview in early October I believe) said that Obama NEVER said that it's okay to "spread the wealth". Very interesting, because Biden said that AFTER the whole Joe the Plumber scenario (which was also brought up in the interview). Socialism is a temporary state to make the transition from capitalism to communism smoother. That's where were heading if we elect Obama.

If you're gonna goon out and declare America lost because Obama wants to roll back the back Bush tax cuts for those making over 250k a year maybe you should step back and try to look at things without bias.

Socialism is being used in many countries, but how can you say it's a permanent state when those countries have yet to end? Many countries aren't completely socialist yet either. Things like this take time. Obama will fuck America up in his short time in office, but we can still get the country back on track, unless Obama is succeeded by a like-minded socialist, who will only further his policies.
