  • Funny isn't it, no-one asked many questions when this man was fighting for Queen and country in Iraq! Bl**dy armchair warriors!

  • Pablo, you where a bloody nightmare in the RAF always remember having to destroy your Telford camaera information after some sorties you did bloody remember you as a chopper pilot in NI and remember that crash at Chivenor, and the one in Germany but will always remember you for the first raid on Iraq Gulf war 1 when you lost JP and that twat Nichol and you where so upset.......you are a true gent mate and i for one have had the privelidge of knowing you..my lasting memeories of you are Germany

  • why was he sacked what happend?

  • Pablo Mason was the formation leader on the 3 plane daylight bombing raid that resulted in the shooting down and then capture of John Nicol and John Peters. War Hero.

  • Sounds like the captain, off the film Titanic haha!

  • @JAYKUS four aircraft flew out, sadly three returned..

  • @jacko352 actually it was only 3. One of the ships had mechanical problems and didn;t join the raid

  • There is absolutely nothing dangerous about allowing a civilian into the flight deck. Have some common sense people!

  • It's like Maverick flying a bus though. He should do some aerobatics in the Red Bull. How can they sack someone like that? Who grassed?

  • Flew tornados in first gulf, and he was a vet then. Who wouldnt want this guy to fly them to spain? I'd feel pretty safe.

  • Incidently I Boycott Thomas Cook for it's policy in Wales of not allowing the Welsh language to be used in the workplace.

    Shame on them.

  • poor guy, he is clearly passionate about flying. :(

  • Pablo flew warplanes during the gulf campaign. He's a hero.

  • this is the tale of a mule, Pablo it the head and shoulders, Thomas cook is the ASS

  • thomas cook give this man his job back

  • Pablo Mason has flown me around Europe a couple of time's, Airtours, Mytravel & Thomascook. We once had a 7 hour delay from Birmingham to Majorca and have a guess who was the captain, Pablo. He walked around the cabin and shook everybodys hand to say sorry for the faults on the aircraft, i dont know any other pilot that has ever done that whithin my 63 holidays so 126 flights, Pablo Mason you will be missed, especially at Birmingham :) good luck in the future. your number 1 fan, James Williams.

  • Pablo is a bloody hero, I'll shake his hand anytime!

  • thats abit of a stupid reason :S

  • Shameful. Pablo you are a true gent and a credit to pilots everywhere. Best of luck in whatever awaits you. You'll soar.
