hyperspeed spaces the notes out more, doesn't matter what speed you play on because you still have hit the notes at the same speed, but when you start playing on hyperspeed and go back to not using it its harder because of getting the timing right, i personally find it easier with hyperspeed, but thats just me, everyones different
