Nice backing track and amazing jam and lead. It isn't novelty the great tones of this pedals with Eleven Rack, but take a good sound with Squier is a good challenge. Congrats to your son!

If so I've got it's twin and would love to see and hear it through that set up...I miss my Squire Tele...had a Seymore Duncan mini bucker in the neck position...could get a lot of very cool tones out of that rig...and kudo's to your son...nice groove.

Make sure u buy the Vintage Blonde with the Alnico 3s (which is wat I have n wat he's playing), and NOT the Butterscotch Blonde model which has the alnico 5s.

Hey dude, just got your invite. Yes, great guitars. I have one. I replaced all of the pots, caps, jack, and did the 4-way switch mod - topped off with the pickups from a Baja Tele (Broadcaster bridge, Twisted Tele neck), and the Baja now has Lollar 52's. You may know this, but these Squiers are based on the first Japanese made Fender vintage replicas. Anyway, really great playing - I watched a few others, too. I saw this one before, I remember because of the 11 yr old thing... :)

I also have a Classic Vibe Precision in Fiesta Red with torty guard (you've probably seen those, too). I also modded that with a Lollar Pre pup, and routed it for a hum canceling Jazz pup from Duncan. I LOVE that bass!! I use it in a vintage punk cover band and get a ton of compliments. You're right, they really are the best value going. But people scoff at Squier guitars; too bad so sad, their loss.
