  • My dad gave me a box of cassettes that he recorded off the radio from the 1970s. They used to play songs like this quite often. "This song is over 11 minutes long? Far out, let's give it a spin !"

  • These videos are terrific!

A whole new dimension to the most innovative, intelligent pop songs of the 1970s.

Correction, make that..... ....of all time.

  • @ExtendedancEPlay,yes 10cc is awesome,still love their great music,although i'm 53 years old,can't get enough of them.

  • I love 10cc, but I'm sorry to say that I never heard some this greats; I guess I caught on to them early and stopped.

  • @AMANDACARMAN Never too late! There is a wealth of superb music for you to find and fall in love with now.

  • I'd just sworn off drugs and alcohol, gone vegetarian, broke up with my high school girlfriend, and slept with my buddy's sister. And then THIS album came out. That was a busy Spring.

  • Great track! I have two copies of Deceptive Bends on vinyl - the American one on the Mercury label and the Canadian one on the Phillips label.

I'm definitely the only 15 year old who can say that, haha.

  • My Deceptive Bands is 34 years old now. I played the record on my brand-new record player (Rega RP-1) and the quality and sound of 10CC never lost it's strength. With Feel the Benefit as a brilliant piece. Chapeaux!

  • for musos

  • One of my all time fav. songs, always have this in the car, sound up on the motorway.

    brilliant.

  • The masterpiece of all music thank you for being in our world ...

  • Still sends shivers down my spine...a great track from a very under-estimated and influential band of the 70's/80's. This echoes the greats of "I'm Mandy" and paved the way for their greatest works on "Bloody Tourists" It;s just a shame that to make good music in the 80's you had to fall out of love with commercial pap pop! It has a riff akin to "Dear Prudence" two distinct parts like "Strawberry Fields" and ends like "She's So Heavy", their roots of Beatles music shines through.

  • top song! nice video

  • Masterpiece, unlike some of those songs out today, but music is music, and opinions are just that;opinions...

  • @MrJesusSlime That's not a opinion, it's a fact

  • Wow what a bittersweet song.. fantastic composition.. my first LP and still got it !!

  • Excellent song, the intro is so "Dear Prudence" sounding, the lyrics and orchestration are excellent, a masterpiece! These guys were extreme pros, masters of the recording studio. Thank you for posting!

  • Best they ever did, & one of the ten best "progressive" rock compositions ever recorded...awesome

  • I love how the lyrics are synced with the voices. Makes it really cool, and is a heck of a lot more impressive than doing something out of windows movie maker. The animations during the instrumental sections were awesome too. :)

  • Oh my gosh it's the whole song!!! I love this song! Just amazing. Thank you for taking the time to put this all together!! :) Super cool!

  • Immense song!

  • Thanks for taking the time to do these videos with the lyrics; they're really great! <33

  • It was a sad day when Godley & Creme departed but this album is still great despite their absence! Always liked the strings and the 'Dear Prudence' riff! ; )
