Does CO2 'drive' climate? Mostly not. Does CO2 cause global warming definately yes. To have an affect on climate CO2 first has to be moved from CO2 sinks. To do this a small warming is necessary. This occurs because of Milankovitch cycles - earth tilts and orbital distances. Once the CO2 starts to be relearsed, this causes a positive feedback which releases more CO2 and we get an interglacial - thats why there is a delay of hundreds of years. 'Swindle' is full of it - avoid!
