  • MuzikSuite, I've it on now and listening to it all over again - magic stuff.

  • What a buzz just listening to that.

  • Have just listened to a great 1983 (!) recording of Arthur McBride - brill!

I see my posting up above still. I still recall at about two minutes in Liam's pipes cranking up and they stole glances at each other as we all gave them back the vibe, 'Planxty are back' at the sound of Liams pipes.

  • lol.. I love how Christy requests that the sound be turned up for Liam.. hee hee..

  • I was at this gig, sitting up at the front. A great moment was when we could hear Liam Og cranking up the pipes in this tune and once again, we got the great Planxty sound coming through. The vibe from the crowd was fab and I recall the great quartet looking at each other as they got the vibes.

    A great night, Planxty abu!

Nothing to beat them. I saw & heard them first in 1972.

  • @CastletoKarma u bastad id v killed 2 c that live!! epic stuff!!!!

  • @CastletoKarma I found this being shared online, the album of this, but there are 18 tracks, the last three are not titled and not listed in the albums online, and there are two different labels, amazon says phantom and discogs says sony. what is going on? they shouldn't have given this live showing such a vague title.
