It will only take long to learn if you don't want to learn it. But if you already know the basics like which layer to sketch, color, etc...on then you won't have to worry. :D
I don't know about photoshop crashing. I have PSe 8.0 and it has never crashed. Make sure you check which computer it can go on.
I love this, it's so beautiful. I wish that I could buy the tablet. Unfortunately, I need a whole new computer. Mine is growing older and wouldn't work for something that complex. I can draw pretty well without Photoshop, and I can do all sorts of graphics, but drawing on Photoshop is one thing I have never been able to do, as I don't have a tablet. That was amazing! ;-]
