@gandalftheantlion I would have liked Brotherhood if Ezio's story felt in any way necessary. However, only Desmond's portion felt important. Aside from that, Brotherhood ran worse than previous games and the addition of the Brotherhood made things way too easy. Even without them, this is the easiest and shortest Assassin's Creed game yet, with only 1 city and boring side missions.

I think that for the next Assasins Creed game Ubisoft makes they need to either make a modern assasin or go back to altair. Heck I think it would be cool if they did a WW2 assasin, i mean seriously imagine it! Maybe the nazis would be trying to unlock the mysteries or the old templars or maybe they are fighting the tempplars to to gain their secrets. I am kinda hoping for the modern assasin thing though.

When I first saw this trailer, I just fell. The whole animus thing might be for a storys sake, but I hoped that you would just play as Altair, not his memories. But still, I thought the trailer was very sad, since I thought he tried to save the guy from falling at 0:59, and that kills himself with the jump at the end(didn't notice the hay), forming like a cross for some religious sake. It made me feel empty, and I knew I had to play it.

I love all the games, but I still think this one is my favourite. I don't know if it's because I love Altaïr, or because of the dusty desert feel of the game, the rustic atmosphere, or the nice simple controls, or...I don't know. I just love it and for all its little glitches and stumbles, I can't fault it. AC2 and ACB are great, I just love this game and it was a great opener for the series. For me, the game is nostalgic. Reminds me of a certain point in my life. A good point.

AC 2 is better. While AC 2 remains equally challenging throughout the entire game, AC 1 gets insanely hard (and damn near impossible) towards the end :(

AC 1 was also way too repetitive. You spent the entire game doing the same damn thing.

Don't really see how anyone can think AC1 was better than AC2. AC2 had better graphics and gameplay. Got less repetitive, had way more things to do. No useless flags. Arguably the story was better too, but some people may disagree.

@stephos21 The AC series itself is amazing. The plot is great, but it's the gameplay that really shines. Ubisoft does an amazing job with open world games, and parkour is just awesome. Take those two things, and combine them with a company capable of actually listening to their fans on the forums and creating beautiful environments to play in, and you get one hell of a game.

AC 1's Combat System is far more Challenging than AC 2

But AC 2 had a lot of Improvements in the Social Elements.

@Palmah96 Original AC is still my favourite of the series. The dark ages period setting and the story line was amazing from start to finish. Maybe its because I wasn't expecting all the sci fi stuff when I first bought it that it completly took me away. AC II was also incredible but for some reason for me the storyline became dopey and stale towards the end. The final fight in AC II is so anti climatic and silly it made me laugh out loud.
